A visit to my doctor for hormonal support turned into a throat exam, then a thyroid ultrasound that flagged "mildly suspicious" nodules — later downgraded to "boring" by a specialist. That scare pushed me to an ENT, where a scope revealed the real issue: vocal cord nodules. The fix isn't surgery. It's speech therapy — learning to slow down, breathe with intention, and speak differently, a real challenge for someone who moves through life fast by default.
