Ep. 147: Scott Crawford (Documentary Filmmaker) Scott Crawford has spent much of his life devoted to documenting independent culture. His 2015 debut feature-length documentary, SALAD DAYS: A DECADE OF PUNK IN WASHINGTON, DC was critically-acclaimed, receiving accolades from The New York Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Rolling Stone and others. His follow-up documentary, CREEM: AMERICA’S ONLY ROCK’N’ROLL MAGAZINE, debuted at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival and won several awards during its festival run including the “Spirit of Michigan Award” at the FREEP Film Festival.
