Ep. 15 Creative Writing and Language Learning

from Multilingual Literature · host Jeff P

This is a technical solo episode meant to give you insight into some creative writing techniques and strategies for language learning. I get into detail about neuroscience and the brain, two multilingual creatives that inspire me on my multilingual creative writing and narration journey, and strategies for writing in different languages. I also shared how I relearned Spanish in 2013 and how this primed my brain to learn Brazilian Portuguese and ecclesiastical Latin. Additionally I advocate for literacy skills and academic language at a young age and highly recommend adults to pursue both language learning and creative and expressive writing techniques for better metacognition and long-term mental health.
