EP 159: Candid Conversations with Soul Centered Coaches Part 1

The Online Coaching Space has been.... interesting to say the least. There's no regulating entity. People can run their courses, coaching, and communities anyway they seem fit, and quite frankly, that's what we all want right!? The beauty of capitalism and the American Dream.... And in an industry like personal development , spirituality we would hope that we would all be on the same page- awakening and empowering the collective. However during what I like to call the Covid Coach rush, everyone and their mother became a " coach." Anyone who wanted to make money selling their TEACHINGS or process, or ANYTHING really, threw the name coach in front of their name. The result , the dilution of the title and a stain on the word COACH. Distrust amongst consumers who can't differentiate between soul centered coaches and the opportunists. People see the word coach and don't know if its an MLM coach or one of those people who think it's cute to like 3 pics, engage with your story and cold dm you their offer out the random. And lets say you do take them up on their offer- those who can't coach, CON. Instead of coaching clients, they offer More boundaries, and less face time. More money and less personal guidance. More modules and less community interaction. Coaching isn't a course. Coaching is guiding, asking questions and facilitating a transformation. I don't know about you , but watching a video isn't my idea of transformation and so many "coaches" made a killing by preying on those who were looking for change and instead got left feeling "conned" If any of this is resonating with you , you will absolutely enjoy what will be the first of many...
