Op onze opnamedag loopt Hilde marathon nummer 353. 353/366, het ziet er dus naar uit dat 'Marathonwoman' haar doel zal halen om in 2024 élke dag 42,195 kilometer te lopen. "Ik heb het enorm onderschat. Op 2 januari had ik al een eerste moeilijk moment". Over doorzetting gesproken. Met haar recordpoging haalde Hilde ook al meer dan 42.000 euro op voor borstkankeronderzoek. Wordt ze straks ook bekroond tot "Belg van het jaar"? Wij zouden het terecht vinden.
