EP 175: Race, Religion & Reconciliation (Uncomfortable Conversations that need to be had )

This past weekend I sat down with my mother who is a Reverend and we talked about the heavy religious topics that we don't see eye to eye on. She's a reverend and although I too and ordained to perform ministerial duties ( I paid out of STATE tuition for that knowledge BOY!!!) - nonetheless, I do not feel called to "minister" the same way she does. IN ADDITION, the "Try that in a small town video" blew TF up on my social media feeds and I would like to have a clear headed, calm presentation of the responses I am getting on social media and hopefully shed some light for those of you who are completely ignorant at how it would be offensive or why it's problematic. I understand that when you grow up in a small town OR surrounded by people with similar views as you, it is hard to fully grasp the perspective of others. I hope to provide some insight for my white , fair skinned or simply out of the loop friends.
