Ep: 1796 Melissa Mose LMFT - Therapy for OCD

from The Kathryn Zox Show

While many with obsessive compulsive disorder find partial remission with standard treatment, others struggle to fully overcome symptoms or find significant relief. Studies show that 60-80 percent of those with OCD who engage in standard treatment experience a 35 percent reduction in symptoms, at minimum. This leaves significant room for improvement and is one reason Melissa Mose has developed an innovative clinical approach that holds promise for even the most treatment-resistant forms of OCD. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in LA. Her experience as a parent of a child with OCD has led her to specialize in treatment of individuals with OCD and their families. Mose is an international speaker and educator on OCD and its treatment, and is president of the board of directors of OCD Southern California.
