Ep. 18 - 3 Self-Actualizing Anger Merchants Sue for Peace w/ Dan Koch

from Growing Up Christian · host Casey Greseth

Changing your mind is hard. Changing other people's minds seems impossible, doesn't it? I mean, I've only recently gotten Sam to concede that dinosaurs "probably existed." In a world where we are pulled in so many different directions by so many voices, finding common ground can be a challenge, but it's a critical part of maintaining relationships. How do we encourage those around us to reconsider their beliefs and opinions when we so fundamentally disagree?   This week, we're joined by special guest Dan Koch - creator of the podcasts You Have Permission, Depolarize!, and Reconstruct. In each of his shows, Dan explores issues surrounding faith, deconversion, and politics. Over the years, he has been a unifying voice of knowledge, comfort, and perspective to a lot of people in the Christian and ex-Christian communities, and we were really excited to talk with him! Enjoy the episode, and be sure to subscribe to his shows. You can find more information at https://www.dankochwords.com/.
