Ep. 275 – Blue Balls Yield Black Lungs
This week we’re checking out some r/christiandating and r/christianmarriage posts about leaving your boyfriend/husband. Then we’re discussing “Dr” David E. Clarke, a Christian psychologist of dubious credentials who has authored 17 books and gives some very concerning relationship and parenting advice. A so-called expert on narcissists (or “narcs” as he insists on calling them), Dr Clarke proports to diagnose your partner’s narcissism and tell you which of his books will fix all of your problems over the course of a 45 minute “advice session” phone call. What an incredible spiritual gift, huh? So lock your narc out of the house and enjoy the show!

Ep. 274 – Pastor Ted Shuttlesworth Jr: This Is the Scrotiac Speaking
This week we start off with a Reddit post from a incensed accountant who asks whether or not it’s her Christian duty to lose her job over processing an expense from the boss she doesn’t like. Then we’re sifting through the somewhat recent scandals of Ted Shuttlesworth Jr. – the creeper in the code! Teddy comes from a long line of charismatic doomsayers and flimflam men plaguing south Florida, where he and his wife Carolyn pastor Miracle Word Church in West Palm Beach. Ted came under fire earlier this year when he confessed to having “loose and inappropriate conversations with the opposite sex” which “culminated in sexual activity with a woman who is not my wife,” a statement which paints the rosiest picture possible of somewhere around 15 years of sexual harassment, spiritual manipulation, and adultery. Join us as we dive deeper into this sordid story!

Ep. 273 – The Book of Mormon: Less Wrothy, More Frothy Moroni
This week we’re chatting about how cheap Sam is, the Graham Platner smear campaign, whether or not it’s sinful to be a furry, and then we’re doubling back on the Book of Alma! According to Reddit Mormons, we skipped over one of the most exciting stories Joseph Smith committed to paper when we got bored and skipped the second half of the book. It’s the story of Moroni’s suppression of a rebellion, his vanquishing of the eternally naughty Lamenites, and the introduction of a very funny character that I just couldn’t wait to tell Sam about. Enjoy the show!

Ep. 273 — God, Send Me A Hot Wife to Love Me Like I Love Me w/ Fashion Designer Isaiah Isaac
This week we're reuniting with an old friend of ours from the Liberty University days, fashion designer and artist Isaiah Isaac! Isaiah has a story unlike any we've covered on the show. By the time we met him, he had pretty much come to grips with the fact that he was gay, and he didn't spend his time at Liberty trying to "reform" himself. There was no way Christian college was going to keep his attention, though, so he left LU and started working towards a career in the fashion industry where he has been very successful. Isaiah is one-of-a-kind, and it was so much fun catching up with him! You can follow his work on Instagram (@isaiah.isaac_) or by visiting his website at www.isaiahisaac.com!

Ep. 272 – r/christianmarriage: Massage Parlors of the Pud-Tugging Variety
This week we’re combing through the internet and offering some sage wisdom to the frustrated women of r/christianmarriage and r/christiandating! Then we’re discussing the arrest of the “holiest man alive,” missionary Daniel Savala. He recently pled guilty to abusing boys for decades, which some worry may tarnish his reputation. What a world, huh? However, Savala seems to be the tip of a horrifically large iceberg…

Ep. 271 – Dare to Discipline: Dr. Dobson's Glossary Criminal Slang
This week we’re revisiting the must-have book for any parent: Dare to Discipline by Dr. James Dobson, the Kim Il Sung of Focus on the Family! There’s a riveting chapter about the perils of child drug abuse, and Jimmy D will teach you the symptoms and slang terms necessary to spot a budding barbiturate dependency in your tipsy teen-turned-prostitute. But before that, we’re once again cracking open the Apocrypha to study a scathing rebuke of both potty mouths like Sam and, well... women in general. Enjoy the show!

277
Ep. 270 – Reverend Russel Brand Crowned Sword Drill Champion
This week we’re catching up on a few stories that have been in the news, including Russel Brand sharing his powerful testimony with Pierce Morgan, the very real and terrifying Iranian dolphin torpedo threat, and The Onion’s acquisition of InfoWars! Then we dive into some of our favorite subreddits, including r/christiandating and r/christianmarriage for some salient relationship advice including when it’s appropriate to use law enforcement as a means of teaching your wife Biblical submission. Enjoy the show!

Ep. 269 – DrWitnesser: The Rootinest, Tootinest, Slur-Slinging Evange-legume on the Fortnite Frontier
This week we’re joined by our old friend Jay to discuss Twitch lolcow and one of the most annoying internet creatures in recent memory, DrWitnesser/TheFaithfulSheriff! The gimmick is simple: clip farm your streams by “sharing the Gospel” in the most shallow way imaginable with your Fortnite lobby of mostly children. When people inevitably react to the rage-bait tactics, cry about being persecuted for your beliefs. It’s a tried-and-true scheme, but one that TheFaithfulSheriff puts a fresh spin on by directly copying the personas of more successful streamers. Now add in the fact that he’s a sloppymaxxing culture war hack, and I’m sure you’re starting to feel that blunt, familiar ache around your temples. Believe me, it’s only going to get worse…

Ep. 268 – Dare to Discipline: Dr. Dobson's Autism Boo Box
This week we’re taking a look at a fascinating book written by the late great Dr. James Dobson: “The New Dare to Discipline.” This quintessential parenting guide was originally written by the good doctor while his own children were still in preschool, which the haters will say invalidates its timeless Biblical themes and enhanced interrogation techniques. However, the “New” Dare to Discipline is an updated version that is kid-tested, Dobson approved (in much the same way that hair loss medications and carcinogenic cosmetics used to be tested on golden retrievers). We’re going to focus on a fantastic chapter called “The Miracle Tools Pt. 1,” where Dobby shares some thought-provoking research into the treatment of childhood autism. So sit back, ignore the sounds of screaming children (those aren’t added in post for dramatic effect… Sam is on family vacation), and enjoy the show!

Ep. 267 – When Does Wearing Panties Become a Problem for Almighty God?
This week, we’re taking a look at some of the weirdest behavior Jehovah’s Witness families see as normal, tackling the tough subject of gendered undergarments as an afront to God, and offering moral and spiritual support to a sister in Christ whose unwavering, lily white purity grinds the gears of the dirty reprobates around her. Enjoy the show!

Ep. 266 – Easter: The Original S*icide by Cop w/ Spencer Bland
This week we’re joined once again by our friend, comedian Spencer Bland! We discuss an impromptu road trip with the most racist tow truck driver in all of Mormondom, recent news about former first gentleman of South Dakota Bryon Noem, and then we dive into some irritating/horrifying advice questions on r/ChristianMarriage. Spencer will be on tour at the end of the month, and he’s hitting a number of cities across the country including:4/17 – Los Angeles, CA4/20 – Denver, CO4/23 – Minneapolis, MN (w/Will Abeles)4/24 – Erie, PA (Flagship Comedy Festival)4/25 – Annapolis, MD (Headlining)4/29 – Raleigh, NC (Headlining)4/30 – Wilmington, NC (Headlining)5/1 – Raleigh, NC (w/Mark Normand)5/2 – Raleigh, NC (w/Mark Normand)5/3 – Greensboro, NC (Headlining)5/4 – Nashville, TN5/6 – Denver, CO (Headlining)Follow Spencer on Instagram and TikTok (@spencerspicy), and go to www.godsfavoritecomedian.comfor tickets!

Ep. 265 – Duggar Family Values & The Clavicular of Boomermaxxing
This week we’re checking in on America’s ickiest family outside Capitol Hill, the Duggars! These folks just can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight. While Josh has traditionally generated most of the Duggar-related headlines, his brother Joseph and wife Kendra are giving him a run for his money. It’s a disgusting, shocking story and we hope they get what they deserve. Then we discuss a local hero whose good deeds are almost too abundant to list, but that’s not going to stop him from trying… Enjoy the show!

271
Ep. 264 – r/christiandating: Be Honest, Were You a Prostitute?
This week we’re digging into some advice posts on Reddit! The online church is fielding a wide variety of questions from alternative engagement jewelry, to alarmingly possessive boyfriends, to the very real threat of demonic porn possession. Come along with us while we assist these brothers and sisters in Christ!

Ep. 263 – World War 3, Bible Camp Truth or Dare, and Other Such Perilous Battlefields
Well, I guess we’re at war… again. So we’re lamenting the fact that our country seems bound and determined to drag the world into a meat grinder one more time before the empire dissolves, and then we examine a post from a young man who is bound and determined to drag his fledgling relationship into the meat grinder before it even starts. Stay safe out there, kids.

Ep. 262 – The Book of Mormon: The Charge of the Lamanite Brigade
This week we’re dipping back into the book of Mormon for the first time in a while! We got a little bored with the Book of Alma, so we’re moving on to the Book of Helaman, where a real Game of Thrones situation unfolds recounting the power struggle for the Judgement Seat (which is an actual chair, btw). Take studious notes and enjoy the show!

Ep. 261 – Truuuuust Me, Daddy… I'm a Christian Dating Coach
This week, we’re keeping it light with some fascinating stories from around the globe, such as the Kenyan pastor who aired out his WhatsApp DMs with the Almighty! Then we’re sliding over to Reddit to check the pulse of the Christian dating scene, where there seems to be a lot of one-sided conviction about ordained soulmates. This episode was a lot of fun, so we hope you enjoy it!

Ep. 260 – Everyone Is "Beef Jerky" to Milo Yiannopoulos
Boy, the last two weeks have been insane on both a personal and a national level! So we’re discussing the details and implications of the latest Epstein files drop, and then taking a look at a scandal that is threatening the careers of several “trad” conservative grifters, as well as the voracious predator that stocks them day and night… Milo.

Ep. 259 – 11 Counts of Peeping Tom w/ George Azar of My Gay Church Days
This week we’re excited to welcome back author, CPA, and bastion of positive vibes, our friend George Azar! George joins us to revisit one of our favorite news stories of the last year, that of Kendrick Oakley – pastor, candid photographer, and general pervert who was arrested after repeatedly taking upskirt photos of women in a Hobby Lobby in Tulsa. Then we’ll revisit our favorite subreddit, r/christiandatingadvice. George is a financial wizard and has started a new page dedicated to his CPA work. Follow him on Instagram (@georgethe.cpa) and check out his book My Gay Church Days!

265
Ep. 258 – Melonie Mac: e-Girl Hack & Christian Zionist Quack
This week we’re taking a look at one of the most annoying “pick me” grifters I’ve found in a while: Melonie Mac. She got her start as a gaming streamer and got a little traction in the industry hosting for IGN, but sometime in the late 2010’s she made a hard shift into a red-pilled, antifeminist, Christian conservative and managed to get herself blackballed from that community. Since then, she has declined in viewership and relevance, desperately trying to stay visible on the internet with clickbait headlines, thirst traps, and of course mediocre Christian brainrot. There’s a lot to unpack about her, but we’re going to focus on one video in particular that made my blood boil… Enjoy the show!

264
Ep. 257 – The Glorious Grifters of 2025 w/ Christian Nightmares
Hark the herald, Christian Nightmares is back! It’s been a few years since we last talked to the premier purveyor of Christian cringe, and does he have a treat for all of us… In this episode, we’ll be examining his list of the top 5 halleluiah hucksters of the year! There are a lot of familiar faces in the mix, but we sprinkle in a couple of oddities, too. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did, and if you’re interested in hearing more from Christian Nightmares, you can follow his Substack where he writes more in-depth articles about events, support him on Patreon, and of course, follow one of the best accounts on IG, @christian_nightmares!

Ep. 256 – r/christiandating Douchebag Thunderdome
Happy New Year, everyone, and what a lovely year it’s going to be! Peace, prosperity, goodwill to all, no blockbuster sequels, my cousin said they’re bringing back Rice Crispy Treat Cereal…. Surely this will be America’s best year yet! So to kick it off we’re going back to one of our favorite watering holes where all the freaks come to drink, and like a couple of hungry crocodiles, we’ve snatched a two christian studs from the bank. That’s right – it’s r/christiandating. We have a little contest to see who can dig up the biggest psychopath on the board, and the competition was steep. Hope you enjoy, and have a great start to the year!

Ep. 255 – Valhalla? Pssssh I'll Be Playing Air Guitar in Heaven
This week we’re diving into a multifaceted tunesmith known as Peyton Parrish! Peyton has had a diverse career, starting with his smash hit country album “Cowboy Man,” then making his bones in Viking cosplay folk metal, and finally arriving at the genre where he’s sure to make it big: Christian rock. Ol’ Peyton has ruffled a few feathers along the way what with his abrupt identity swaps, but he stands firm knowing that all those who oppose him are demonic. A man of resolve, a man of conviction, a man of John Cooper-esque talent, Peyton Parrish is sure to be one of your top artists in 2026!

Ep. 254 – A Whites-Only Vault Toilet That We Can Call Home
This week we’re diving into a few different stories! We’re starting out with one of our favorite subreddits, r/christiandatingadvice. Then we discuss the arrest of a California pastor and recent Congressional candidate who was duped by a youtube predator catcher called “Big Bad Wolf.” Finally, we talk about an less-than-ambitious attempt to create a “straight, white only” conclave in the mountains of rural Arkansas called Return to the Land. This collection of weirdos have constructed a shanty town where you’re just as likely to contract a medieval ailment as grow a little corn and beans. Enjoy the show!

Ep. 253 – Scumbag Son of a Sanctimonious Sex Pest
This week, we’re taking a look at a twisted ongoing story out of Indianapolis surrounding a megachurch called Life Church. When the son of prominent pastor Nathan Peternel with close personal ties to Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith is arrested for distributing CSAM, it raised more than a few eyebrows. As it turns out, Jonathan Peternel isn’t the only one with skeletons in his closet… The domino effect has embroiled the whole family in a massive scandal that may shake up more than just church leadership. This is a wild story that is far from over, and we hope that these pricks get what’s coming to them!

Ep. 252 – "Tyranny, Bloodshed, Misery, Slavery:" The Apostle Cleveland's Rebuke of Socialism
This week we’re looking at a little local literature from our friends at the nearby church of Christ. Direct mail is a tough medium with which to elicit a response. I haven’t studied the charts and graphs, but I don’t imagine many people come to the Lord via longwinded mailers. However, I received one this week that got my attention. It’s entitled “Socialism is Not Just an Economic Theory! (The Moral Responsibility of all Mankind,” and in it brother Cleveland Reddinger lays out four compelling points on why Socialism (uh, I think you mean Communism) is an afront to God and His divine plan. Not to spoil things, but point number four is “It just doesn’t work,” so it’s riveting stuff! Listen closely and repent, ye freeloading, healthcare-deprived, droopy-bootstraped debt slaves!

Ep. 251 – Liberty Lost: The Catastrophic Cost of Compulsory Adoption w/ Journalist TJ Raphael
This week we’re joined by award-winning investigative journalist, TJ Raphael! We came across TJ’s work when we discovered her podcast series Liberty Lost which is the culmination of a two year investigation into a maternity home owned and operated by our alma mater, Liberty University. The Liberty Godparent Home is advertised as a ministry of compassion whose mission is to offer “a better choice” for pregnant young women and girls who might otherwise opt for an abortion. However, former residents describe the home as more of a nine month isolation pod where these vulnerable women are put under enormous pressure to give up their babies for adoption to “God-fearing Christian families” in exchange for basic healthcare and the promise of a clean slate/fresh start with a scholarship to Liberty University. The Liberty Godparent Home profits immensely from both donations and adoption fees while leaving behind hundreds of broken women struggling to cope with the immense guilt, shame, and despair of losing their child. Liberty Lost is a truly impactful series that we can’t recommend enough! Stream the full show today, follow TJ on Instagram (@tjraphs), and go to www.tjraphael.comfor more information about her many other projects!

Ep. 250 – Do You Want a Revolution?! WHOOP WHOOP w/ Spencer Bland
EPISODE 250!!! It’s crazy to think we’ve been doing this show for almost 5 years… We’ve met so many great people and had so many interesting conversations over the last half a decade! And what better way to celebrate 250 episodes than with our friend, comedian Spencer Bland. Spencer has moved to LA, and he’s pursuing a career in standup comedy full force. We talk about life in LA, the slow radicalization of Sam, and get into some r/christiandatingadvice and “pastor arrested” stories that made us laugh. We hope you enjoy the show, and thank you so much for listening over the years!

256
Ep. 249 – Prayer Walks, Warlocks, & TikTok Bric-a-Brac for the Faithful
This week we’re looking over a little of what the algorithm has vomited onto my lap, recently! This one covers a lot of ground, folks. We’ll hear a sermon from a former white witch trying to warn the faithful about the dangers of Halloween, the plethora of Christ-centered knickknacks and doodads hawked by TikTok grifters, and finally, a truly unique group of individuals brought together by their love of God and… nature, I guess. We had a good time sorting through the digital detritus, and hope you enjoy the show. Oh and if you come across something similar that cracks you up, baffles you, or makes your blood boil, send it our way!

255
Ep. 248 – Cuckabee Slaps the Bass, Locke Grifts & Grinds, & the Deacon of Death
This week we’re discussing a number of stories from across the internet, including the bizarre Sweet Home Alabama cover the current and former US ambassadors to Israel recently performed, Greg Locke continuing to be one of the worst people in the country, Dinesh D’Souza’s new documentary about the Israel/Palestine, another pastor with lavish tastes caught stealing donations, and the recent execution of Samuel Lee Smithers, a Florida fuddy-duddy sentenced to death for the murder of two women back in the 90’s. We hope you enjoy the show!
-
254
Ep. 247 – The Book of Mormon: Don't Tread on Abinadi w/ Burton Miller
This week we’re happy to welcome back our friend Burton Miller, fresh off of his recent comedy tour! Burt joins us this week to discuss our childhood bullies, BookTok literature, Joseph Smith’s magnificent holy spectacles, and look over some of the final words of persecuted prophet from the book of Mosiah, Abinadi. Burt just launched a new podcast of his own that we think a lot of you guys will enjoy! It’s called Creative Turn with Burton Miller, and his goal is to “demystify the creative process by asking professional creatives ten questions about how they are following their dreams.” Follow Burt on IG (@burtola), listen to the first episode of his podcast on all streaming platforms, and catch the final performance of his comedy show “The 40 Year Old Burton” in Cleveland on November 1!

253
Ep. 246 – The Book of Mormon: High Taxes & Whoredoms
These are stressful times, friends. We thought it might be nice to take you all on a little auditory vacation with the soothing Carribean vibes of Caucasian Christian reggae artist, Abba Alabanza! This brave artist is leading a one man revolution against the gay community… and music as an artform, it seems. Then we’re jumping into the next chapter of Mosiah, continuing our Book of Mormon odyssey with the story of King Noah, an apple that fell far from the old Zeniff tree. Enjoy!
-
252
Ep. 245 – The Book of Mormon: No Such Thing as a Lamenite Noncombatant
This week we start off with the strange, confusing, and suspicious narrative around the Kirk assassination, and then we’re jumping into a chapter of Mosiah that discusses the strained relations between the good, wholesome, chosen Nephites, and the evil, dangerous, spiteful-for-no-reason Lamenites. It’s a book with more than a few modern parallels and a heap of repetitive language (as usual). Enjoy the show, and remember that you can weigh in on these topics with us if you join our Discord (link in our Instagram bio)!

251
Ep. 244 – Pastor David Taylor Rebukes the Spirit of Stinginess
This week we’re discussing the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the recent raid on several compounds of the Kingdom of God International church. Pastor David Taylor and his right hand, Michelle Brannon, are facing serious criminal penalties for essentially running a forced labor cult centered around call centers where his followers were forced to solicit donations or face serious consequences. This guy is a scumbag, and he’s probably going to jail for a very long time. Good riddance!

Ep. 243 – Father Forgive Me, For I Have Fingerblasted w/ Tan and Handsome
This week we’re joined once again by musicians Chris and Logan from Tan and Handsome! They just released a new EP titled 2 Tan 2 Handsome, and it goes so hard. Follow Tan and Handsome on IG and Youtube (@tanandhandsome), X (@tanandhandsome_) and check out 2 Tan 2 Handsome streaming everywhere!
-
249
Ep. 242 – Black Hat/White Trouser Stain & Soul-Winning on Sniffies
This week we’re discussing an absolutely insane story that the mainstream press hasn’t done a great job of covering. Over the past couple of weeks, the Las Vegas Police, the FBI, and several southern Nevada law enforcement offices conducted a sting targeting online predators. They nabbed eight .pdf files, but two men in particular drew attention from the general public: Redemption Church pastor Neal Creecy and the Executive Director of the Israel Cyber Defense Division Tom Artiom Alexandrovich. This is a wild story, and we think you’ll be as shocked as we were to learn the details!
-
248
Ep. 241 – "Pastor Arrested…" & r/christiandatingadvice
This week we’re looking at a couple of ridiculous stories where pastors have recently found themselves in legal trouble (to put it lightly)! Then we’re diving into a few posts on one of the most triggering subreddits, r/christiandatingadvice. This is a place where 20-something youth group kids go to ask questions with somewhat obvious answers to a group of people who give them really awful spiritual and relationship advice 9 times out of 10. It’s a little nauseating, but in the fun, cringe sort of way!
-
247
Ep. 240 – The Book of Mormon: Ancient Preamble to a Modern Hustle
This week we’re blazing through a few more short books within the Book of Mormon! A fella can take some serious liberties when creating his own lore from scratch, and in this portion we’ll look at the introduction of a specific type of prophetic figure: the seer. Enjoy the episode!
-
246
Ep. 239 – The Book of Mormon: Jacob Tells Sherem to Suck an Egg in Hell
This week we’re back in the Book of Mormon after several months’ hiatus, and I have to say, it feels good to really sink your teeth into the Word! We’ve abandoned the notion of going through it chapter by chapter because it is, sigh… kinda boring. So we’re jumping ahead a bit and looking at the the Book of Jacob chapter 6. Lots of lessons here, kids, so grab a notepad and enjoy the show!
-
245
Ep. 238 – Johnnie Moore: Ladder-Climbing PR Chief of the Mediterranean Killing Fields
This week we’re catching up on a few of the avalanche of news stories that have built up over the past few weeks! We glance at the ongoing Epstein case, the absolutely hilarious PR nightmare that is the Trump Administration’s response, and then talk about an ambitious young buck from our past who went from bottle feeding Jerry Falwell pureed Big Macs at Liberty University to the Executive Chairman of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation: pastor Johnnie Moore. So enjoy the episode and send all of your thoughts and prayers to poppa Sam, whose wife is in the middle of having their third baby!

Ep. 237 – Plotting an Unwelcome Overhaul of the Christian Film Industry w/ Dan Koch
This week we’re happy to welcome back musician and host of the You Have Permission podcast, Dan Koch! We discuss the challenges of discussing current events with half the population, brainstorm some ideas to fix the Christian movie industry, and we gauge and quantify Dan’s reactions to the past years’ key controversial cultural moments. It’s a lot of fun and you can hear part 2 of our conversation on Dan’s show, You Have Permission, where Dan interviews us about the ways in which hosting a “deconstruction” podcast has affected us over the past 4 years. Dan’s great, and You Have Permission is a must listen! Follow Dan on X (@dankoch) and Instagram (@dancoke), and check out www.dankochwords.comfor links to all of his work!

Ep. 236. – "Christian Company" or "Christians in a Company?" w/ Success Coach Mitch Matthews
This week Casey is joined by keynote speaker, success coach, best-selling author, and host of the Dream Think Do Podcast, Mitch Matthews! Mitch works with a wide variety of clients with the goal of “helping them remember who they are, what they’re capable of, and what’s possible when you build something on purpose.” We discuss his early life in church, the life-altering brush with tragedy that prompted him to reevaluate his faith, and what being a Christian in the workplace should look like. It was a fun conversation and I really appreciate Mitch’s willingness to guest on our show, a risk that many people who are still in that world aren’t willing to take. To learn more about Mitch’s work and for links to his various social media, visit www.mitchmatthews.com, and stream Dream Think Do wherever you listen to podcasts!

Ep. 235 – Michael Tait: Just a Freak... Leave Jesus Out of It
*TRIGGER WARNING: this episode contains graphic descriptions of sexual assault and abuse. This week we’re finally going to dive into the Michael Tait allegations. If his name doesn’t ring a bell, he is a lifelong Christian musician originally known for being in DC Talk, but he spent the last 16 years as the lead singer of the Newsboys. Earlier this month The Roy Report published the first of several exhaustive articles detailing allegations of sexual assault, drug use, and overall predatory behavior against Michael Tait from a growing list of victims. If you just happened to overhear the broad details of the first set of allegations, you might understandably think that this sounds like a poor, closeted gay man forced to hide his sexuality from an industry capitalizing on his faith. Friend, I’m here to tell you that that ain’t it… The picture that these allegations paint is far, far darker, and we’re going to get into them. On a lighter note, we also look at the bizarre and unrelated lawsuit against Newsboys owner Wes Campbell, a multi-millionaire who still has a foothold in hillbilly hell. If you disagree with our characterization of these men or just want to discuss these things in more detail, join our Discord server by following the link in our IG bio.

Ep. 234 – Calling in Airstrikes on My Trump Mobile Flip Phone
This week we’re talking about what everyone is talking about – Israel’s surprise attack on Iran, the possibility of direct American involvement, the MAGA split over a new Middle East war, and of course, the Trump family’s latest attempt to squeeze money out of red-blooded midwestern patriots with early onset dementia, T1 Mobile. What a time to be (temporarily) alive, am I right?

Ep. 233 – Stevie B With A Quick Whisper From the Ghost
This week we’re taking a look at one of Christendom's favorite spirit-filled Hollyweird flunkies: Stephen Baldwin. You might think you know how bizarre Stevie B is, but I’ll bet you don’t…

Ep. 232 — Pastor Mitchell Summerfield's Guide to Artisan Tax Returns
This week we're catching up after a two-week hiatus and discussing the cautionary tale of Mitchell Summerfield, pastor of Word of God Church in Raleigh, NC! Remember the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) that kept businesses afloat and employees secure in their jobs during the pandemic? Pastor Mitch remembers them well, having collected over $400k from those programs. Hallelujah, right? Well, almost. As it turns out, Pastor Mitch got pretty creative with his applications for program funding, and the IRS devil has come to collect his fraudulent funds due. In the immortal words of Qui-Gon Jinn, "When you gamble, my friend, eventually you lose..."

Ep. 231 – The Hickman Diaries: Honey Bunchkins of Scrotes
This week we’re catching up and diving into the dark, mysterious, and sticky world of the only man on Earth with both a bowl cut AND the Holy Ghost baptism, Bob Hickman! Truck driver by day and internet prophet by night, Bob is a fascinating character that you may recognize by his opening line “God entered my body, like a body my same size. Like me floating into you, or you floating into me…” Recently Bob’s content has taken an unexpected turn, and we just had to talk about it. If you want to follow him on IG, his primary (I think?) account is @god.has.entered.my.body, but be warned, it is NOT safe for work! P.S. We aren't releasing an episode next week because Casey will be on vacation. See you in June!

Ep. 230 – "Mysterious Ways" Out Now! w/ Filmmaker Tyler Eaton
This week we’re excited to welcome back filmmaker Tyler Eaton! The last time we spoke (Ep. 73 – Pure Flix Presents “Caviezel Dead: The Seventh Trumpet”), Tyler was still raising funds for a horror comedy called “Mysterious Ways” about two sibling youth pastors who accidentally summon a malevolent entity during an anti-Halloween social media stunt. Well after several years and a mountain of manhours, it’s out! “Mysterious Ways” also stars past guest, comedian and actress Alyssa Sabo (Ep. 69 – YOU’RE the One Who Sniffs Panties!). It’s a really fun movie tailormade for this audience, and we think you’re going to love it as much as we did! You can stream it right now on Prime Video, so go check it out!

Ep. 229 – People, Products, & Other Such Synonyms w/ Comedian Mike Valdes

Ep. 228 – Christians Who Don't Suck w/ Comedian Jeremy Alder
This week we’re excited to welcome back a very funny standup comedian and all-around great dude, Jeremy Alder! We touch on being a sneaky Christian kid in a conservative household, the complexities of having kids interested in church as an exvangelical, and his fantastic social media series “Christians Who Don’t Suck,” where Jeremy gives a 1 minute overview of a historic Christian figure whose worldview and actions are incongruent with the modern Western version of faith. Jeremy just released a new comedy album called “Almost A Grown Man,” which is available for purchase on Apple Music and Bandcamp, or you can stream it on Spotify. We also can’t recommend his Drybar Comedy special “Purity Pants” enough! Follow Jeremy on X (@jeremyalder), Instagram (@jeremy.alder), and Facebook (@jeremyaldercomedy), and check out his website www.jeremyalder.comfor his upcoming live dates in North Carolina and California!

Ep. 227 – The Bible Says So w/ Dan McClellan
This week we’re joined by Biblical scholar and author, Dan McClellan! We first became familiar with Dan’s work on social media where he posts some really thought-provoking videos delving into things like commonly misquoted scripture, bad doctrine, and misconceptions about Biblical translation. He is an absolute authority on these subjects and has the scholarly accolades to back it up. His new book, The Bible Says So: What We Get Right and Wrong About Scriptures’ Most Controversial Issues is the perfect reference to some of the most commonly raised debates about the Bible, and we can’t recommend it enough! Follow Dan on YouTube, Instagram, X, and TikTok (@Maklelan), and pick up a copy of The Bible Says So, available everywhere April 29!
