Despite one of the most popular superheroes and fictional characters of all time, Spidey's road to the big screen was a rough one, taking nearly twenty years as he hopped between different directors and studios, getting tangled in rights issues, before finally landing at Sony Pictures with Sam Raimi helming the project. What came a few years later would not only be a fantastic film that did the character justice, but a cultural milestone when it came to comic book films. So, how well does it hold up?
