The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." - John 14:16-17 🕊️ "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." - John 14:26 🕊️ Receiving the Holy Spirit "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'" - Acts 2:38 "You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." - Romans 8:9 🕊️ The Indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit "Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?" - 1 Corinthians 3:16 🕊️ Living and Walking in the Spirit "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." - Galatians 5:16 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." - Galatians 5:22-23 🕊️ How We "Invite" Him While the Holy Spirit comes to all believers at salvation, the idea of "inviting" Him speaks to our willingness to yield to His work in our lives. This is a continual process of surrender and obedience. "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." - Ephesians 4:30 - Sin in our lives can hinder the work and manifest presence of the Holy Spirit. Repentance and confession of sin are vital for living in His fullness. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says, "Do not quench the Spirit." This means we shouldn't suppress or ignore the promptings and guidance of the Holy Spirit. As Romans 8:14 states, we are to be led by Him. This involves listening to His voice, which often comes through scripture, prayer, and a deep sense of peace or conviction. 👸 Join Our Collective Of Set Apart Women: https://www.familyrevivalcollective.com/ 🎥 Visit Us On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@FamilyRevivalCollective ♡ Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/familyrevivalcollective
