This is a continual process of surrender and obedience. "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." - Ephesians 4:30 - Sin in our lives can hinder the work and manifest presence of the Holy Spirit. Repentance and confession of sin are vital for living in His fullness. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says, "Do not quench the Spirit." This means we shouldn't suppress or ignore the promptings and guidance of the Holy Spirit. As Romans 8:14 states, we are to be led by Him.
