Ep. 20 Crisis leads to opportunity with Rachel Stewart

from The DYOJO Podcast · host Jon Isaacson / The DYOJO

Most of us are aware that we should not think too highly of ourselves. The word narcissism gets thrown around quite a bit when talking about those in a position of leadership. During our conversation with Rachel Stewart on The DYOJO Podcast Episode 20, we discuss the importance of not thinking too lowly of yourself.   Rachel is the EVP of Titan Restoration of Arizona, founder of Xcelerate Restoration Software and the author of Unqualified Success.  In her book she outlines stories and strategies for "bridging the gap between where you are now and where you want to be to achieve massive success." Having a right assessment with yourself includes being honest with where you are in your development, recognizing your opportunities and the willingness to take a risk for your future.   We discuss aspects of no risk, no reward with Denis Beaulieu on episode 15 of The DYOJO Podcast as well. Rachel shares a few key items that will help anyone aspiring to reach their potential:  Be curious and be hungry to learn everything that you can  Ask questions of those around you and learn from them  Have a vision for yourself and set goals so that you can track your progress  Stop procrastinating  Embrace an abundance rather than a scarcity mindset   Reading Rachel's book has been pivotal in my own commitment to be intentional with the development of The DYOJO and it has been a key contributor to my wife's growth mindset with real estate. Rachel has a lot of real world wisdom to share as she propelled herself from office manager, getting back into the workforce, to Executive Vice President of a growing regional restoration company, the author of a popular book and founder of Xcelerate Restoration Software.    You can view our discussion via The DYOJO Youtube Page and you can listen to The DYOJO Podcast wherever fine podcasts are listened to (Spotify, Apple, Anchor, Google).
