This week, we have something very special, a listener requested pick from Pj Bidwell, who will be joining us on the episode! 1993's TRUE ROMANCE starring Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette and Gary Oldman. True Romance follows Clarence, a comic-book-store romantic with questionable impulse control, who falls for call girl Alabama and immediately decides their love story should include murder, cocaine, and a cross-country escape. What he lacks in foresight, he makes up for in absolute conviction, dragging Alabama into a whirlwind of mobsters, movie producers, and increasingly tense conversations that tend to end in gunfire.
