A conversation with Suzanne Blackburn regarding the empowerment of women. You are an inspiration to me and what you do and how you bring such positivity and empowerment to women's challenges which is part of my own movement. Which we all struggle with and I think in many different ways on many different levels. Suzanne has been a social and political activist for decades. She was a longtime volunteer with Equality Maine working on two state campaigns to legalize same-sex marriage/ Suzanne is also a volunteer with Maine Adaptive's winter sports program. For more than 20 years she has been involved with The Body Electric School, an organization that hosts programs aimed at affirming the sacred in the erotic. Her vision is to help people reclaim their essential Eros and life and to live wholeheartedly with apology.Suzanne is also a kayaking instructor working on the coast of Maine. "Working with people on the water isn't so much different than working with people in life-affirming rituals.
