Ep 219- Viral Singing Star Lainie Gardner & The Team DWG House Productions Are Here!

from The Roundtable with Robert Bannon · host Broadway Podcast Network

From an early age, Lanie Gardner's gift for storytelling and songwriting blossomed, and she crafted a unique modern blend of classic rock and country influences into her art. Her career soared when her cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” garnered more than 100 million streams and video views across social media and even reached No. 25 on the Billboard Rock Chart. In April 2024 Lanie’s music video for her single “Six Feet Deep” was one of only 10 music videos accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival out of more than 8,000 submissions received. Lanie’s music video will be shown on the big screen for attendees of the prestigious film festival. As she continues to reach new levels of success as an artist, she remains hopeful to be a genre-defying seeker of positive impact on her family, friends and listeners throughout the world. When the trio of Ryan Hood, Jonathan Craig and Steven Webster came together and formed DWG House Productions in 2020, they had big dreams and goals. Even though the first project they landed was working with the iconic artist Jelly Roll, they knew competing against much larger companies and earning market share in their industry wouldn’t be easy. Since its founding just four years ago, DWG House Productions has had many reasons to celebrate but none like what they just accomplished this week. The Tribeca Film Festival this week announced their selections for the 2024 Festival to be held in NYC June 5th- 16th and among them is the trio’s “Six Feet Deep” featuring independent Recording Artist Lanie Gardner. Considered a major win in any year, this year is even more special as Tribeca announced they had received more nominations this year than any other year. In fact more than 8,000 shorts from xx countries were submitted and of those only 10 music videos were selected, one of them being “Six Feet Deep.” Not only is this a major accomplishment for the production team but for Gardner whose video is now in the company of other selected artists which include Bad Bunny, Conan Gray, Dua Lupa, Zach Bryan and The Black Crowes.
