Dead or alive, you're coming with us... on a journey to an alternate Detroit in which a huge corporation, Omni Consumer Products, has purchased the police department and has decided to replace the officers with machines. Talk about science fiction! Peter Weller plays Alex Murphy, a quickly murdered cop who is brought back from the brink of death as a cybernetic law enforcement machine to clean up the streets of Old Detroit in preparation for OCP's master plan, building a new modern city on the ruins called Delta City. Kurtwood Smith plays the gang leader, Ronny Cox (of Cop Rock) plays Dick Jones, the second in command of OCP, and Miguel Ferrer is a coked-up junior executive with designs on Jones' job.
