EP. 223 Bringing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to Fishing- Meet Angelica Talan

This week's guest is Angelica Talan, a social media influencer and blogger out of Washington D.C. who grew up fishing with her family in Ohio but got away from it at some point. That is, until one day her daughter approached her and asked if she would take her fishing. It's a great story and you'll hear all about it on this week's episode! Now both her son and daughter are in love with the sport and Angelica has become the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Liaison for United Women on the Fly! As you'll hear in the intro to this episode, growing up in Northwest Ohio Angelica didn't see any other people of color outside of her immediate family out on the river and questioned whether or not she belonged.
