Lauren & Shannon respond to YOUR sexual assault stories and answer a question from a listener "How often do you think about your sexual assault?" Two stories are shared from two different listeners. One is an example of medical assault; how several doctors took advantage of their power, pushed the boundaries of their patients, and the long-lasting impacts of it. The other is about someone who was assaulted in college, and how being sexually assaulted can cause a victim to recreate the scenario over and over again in an attempt to gain control. Not to mention all the substance abuse that comes after sexual assault. It is such an honor to be able to share personal stories from audience members and we are so proud of all of you.
