Join us, as we discuss Dr. Mizuo's experience as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, including his practice experience working on the base with the Naval Medical Center at Camp Lejeune. He is a decorated Navy Lieutenant with several different accolades, including the Navy and Marine Corpse Commendation Metal, Global War on Terrorism Award, Humanitarian Service Award, and the National Defense Service Award. As "Faculty of the Year" Award recipient, he discusses what it's like to be a faculty member and the value of resident and student education. He also shares his insights on leadership and what this means in the context of both physician work as well as career and community.
