Dr. Phan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Temple University and subsequently earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. ​ He completed his residency training at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville North Carolina and was a member of the inaugural class.  He is currently a UT Health San Antonio Amputation Prevention and Research Fellow.
