Ep 25: Carmell Harrell

from Unforgotten · host Alabama Cold Case Advocacy

On September 14, 2023, it will have been 38 years since beloved ballet instructor, Carmell Clarke Harrell was found brutally raped and murdered in her Hayneville Alabama home. Though authorities haven’t confirmed the murder weapon, it is largely accepted it was the fireplace poker from her own home and it has been known that many men have been questioned, though no arrests or charges were ever made, and no person or persons of interest have ever been named. Carmell’s 1985 case remains unsolved.
