This is week 1 discussing A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas starting with chapter 1 to 8. This week we meet our main character Feyre and witness her struggle to survive the harshness of winter and provide for her father and two sisters. She lives in the human realm on the continent of Prythian - a continent dominated by fae and magic. She breaks a rule from the treaty between humans and faeries and is whisked into the dangerous land that is trying to kill her at every turn. She has to learn to get to know the faerie that is holding her captive and figure out a way to escape or learn to accept her new life in this strange place!
