Ep. 27 - How Blogging Can Ruin Your Life w/ Benjamin L. Corey

from Growing Up Christian · host Casey Greseth

In my experience, doing anything worthwhile means that sooner or later, you're going to lock antlers with old guard apologists - people so entrenched in tradition or ideology that they just can't seem to understand a different perspective. Sometimes it's hard to believe that you're even reading the same source material as them!    Benjamin L. Corey is an activist, theologian, blogger, speaker, and author of "Undiluted: Rediscovering the Radical Message of Jesus" and "Unafraid: Moving Beyond Fear Based Faith." Over the years, Ben has challenged the long-held positions of mainstream American Christianity on issues of equality, tolerance, and what it means to emulate the character of Jesus. We had a great time talking about his run-ins with church bureaucracy, and managing depression and other mental health conditions using ketamine and other psychedelics. Enjoy! Check out this article that Ben wrote about spotting the antichrist: https://www.benjaminlcorey.com/could-american-evangelicals-spot-the-antichrist-heres-the-biblical-predictions/
