Patterns in Britney’s childhood in growing up in a narcissistic abusive household are being repeated in her adult years, and her memoir mentions when these wounds resurface. As someone who is also in therapy from narcissistic parenting, recognizing why we are made to feel ‘bad’ is a huge indicator of childhood trauma that needs self love. Through becoming a mother herself, Britney acknowledges this in her children.
