Ep. 28: During the COVID-19 Epidemic, Kaye Saunders Grapples with Guilt Over Being Relieved that Easter is Cancelled

Kaye Saunders has been making music and helping others to make music for most of her life. She is a singer, pianist, composer, choral conductor, and Director of Music and organist at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Durham, NC. Kaye has an active private voice and piano studio here in the Triangle, and one of her favorite things is when friends or family gather around her piano to make music together.   Okay, it's Easter week. No one is going anywhere during this pandemic. Her choir and church family are reaching out and expressing their feeling of sadness and loss. Kaye isn't sad. She is glad. Then she is feeling guilty. Then she speaks up, and then she is free.   Kaye reminds us of the importance of being in silence, listening to what we need, quieting the inner guilt-judge, speaking up, and taking time for yourself.
