Ep 28: Perry Shall (T-Shirt and more Collector/ Graphic Designer/ Illustrator/ Musician) Perry Shall describes himself as some schmuck with too many t-shirts on his instagram, which just shows you how humble of a person he is. Perry was born and raised in Philadelphia. He is a collector, Illustrator, designer, and art director at Easy Sound. He has designed record covers and t-shirts for The Black Keys, Green Day, Kurt Vile, Yola, Robert Finley, Dan Auerbach, Marcus Hing, Shannon and The Clams, Ted Leo, and more. He is also the host of T-Time Instagram show about t-shirt collecting and has featured guests such as Marc Maron, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bill Moseley, and Gilbert Gottfried. He is in an amazing Philly bands such as “Hound”, and his solo band “Wildflowers of America” and has one of the greatest collection of t-shirts in the country. I have known Perry for over 12 years or so and we are both Jews from the same neighborhood in Northeast Philly. We talk about growing up back then, the origins of his t-shirt collection and finding his first t-shirt stash, Paul Williams, our Bar-Mitzvahs, and much, much more.
