She runs a small, real estate company with her husband and is raising 4 school-aged kids. Megan was a “gray area” drinker--a regular drinker who became a heavier, problem drinker overtime but was very much functioning in all ways.  Megan did not use a traditional method to stop drinking--she woke up one day and decided she was tired of how alcohol was making her feel. She knew it was keeping her from living her best life so she quit; cold turkey (as the saying goes).  Megan has been alcohol free for over two and a half years.
