Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, the Hennepin County Attorney, and the court.Joseph argued that along with violating rights to due process, the charges Chauvin faced were "unsupported by probable cause." Joseph also said that Walz's reassignment of the case to Ellison was "unlawful" —and the failure of the Hennepin County District Court to convene a grand jury violated state and federal rules and laws. The petition further argues that these "errors" require "automatic dismissal" of the case against Chauvin for his involvement in the death of George Floyd.Support the show
