But something wasn't right. Johnson didn't actually live in the district, as required by state law. After investigating, Wikstrom challenged the election and Johnson was disqualified, which led to a special election. Wikstrom didn't win. But his investigation and challenge helped put a stop to the DFL and "their runaway spending,” he said.
