Ep 30: Living a Conscious Life with Tamara Lackey

  Tamara Lackey is a renowned photographer, speaker, author, and program host. Her authentic photography, from children's portraits to humanitarian photography, is praised within her industry and published internationally. Her work is featured in a myriad of major media outlets, from popular magazines to entertainment sites to talk shows. Tamara is a Nikon USA Ambassador, speaking on behalf of Nikon at a variety of shows and conventions. She was one of two photographers from around the world selected to speak on stage and present her marketing campaign work as part of the Nikon Global Launch Event in Tokyo, introducing a new line of ground-breaking mirrorless camera systems.   Tamara is the grateful recipient of the WPPI/Rangefinder Humanitarian Award, the PMDA Photographers Give Back Award and the WPPI Adorama Inspire Award for her work with Beautiful Together. She and her husband co-founded this 501(c)(3) non-profit to improve the lives of orphaned children, and those living in extreme poverty. What I found truly interesting about Tamara was how she says she consciously built her family but she also lives her life and business the same way. Not only is Tamara a photographer, but she also owns a coffee shop in North Carolina. She talks the inspiration behind all of that.
