During my aviation education at The Ohio State University, I received a B.S. in aviation, alongside commercial pilot and flight instructor ratings. Realizing that my true passion was in learning and education, I returned to OSU to receive my M.A. and Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology, leading me to assume the role of Associate Director of Flight Education at the university. Transitioning from academia, I founded S4 NetQuest, a premier learning and design firm, where I have proudly served as President and COO for over 25 years.During my time at Ohio State, I developed an instructional design methodology called M-PACT Learning which puts learners at the center of the approach. This methodology, outlined in my published book "M-PACT Learning: The New Competitive Advantage", sets us apart by fostering deep learning, application and correlation, contrasting starkly with traditional rote memorization-based training.
