Sam has experienced many pivots in both her professional and family life. Joining the Army at 16 years old Sam had an 11 year career serving in the military and experiencing all the pivots and challenges that brings. Since leaving over 15 years go Sam has experienced many highs and lows, and now focuses on empowering women and business owners in the south west to take control of their financial futures. As you'll find out, amongst her pivots she was a personal trainer and nutrionist so Sam is not a one trick pony and often speaks about the three pillars of well-being—financial, physical, and mental health—fully understanding the joys and challenges of balancing careers, family commitments, and maintaining a healthy life. Now, as a business owner and a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, Sam has carried out a variety of leadership and consultative roles in the financial services industry before setting up her own financial planning practice. A mum and step-mum to 4 children and married to a serial entrepreneur and business owner, Sam's biggest challenge is finding quiet moments!!
