Ep 34: I Think, Therefore I Draw w/ Jeff Barlow

Over in Seattle, in a well-seasoned bar, somewhere in a single situated chair with a particularly choice view sits our guest today, Mr. Jeff Barlow, waiting. He’s got a sketchpad, stuff to draw with, and an impressive ability to trust his own process in the moment - the envy of any creative. The band, who’s about to provide live music for the night, is about to have their picture taken, and not in the way they’re probably used to. Draw it in One, Jeff’s professional tagline, refers to how he approaches his sketches. He draws the band in, well, one song. The result is raw and often emotional moments of what he sees in front of him in that amount of time. I think his work is a fantastic example of how trusting the process can be riveting, scary, and beautiful.
