Ep 34 Word Wednesday: Conceit - A New Self Concept

I love Wordplay, and as a result I love Etymology, word roots. According to etymologeek, "Etymology is inherently speculative and uncertain," which gives me permission to play and plant new seeds so new roots will grow, allowing new plants to grow and flourish.Today's word is conceit, a word that once upon a time simply meant a concept, or mental notion, born of the same root as conceive.
