Many parents are having a difficult time home-schooling their children. However, remote learning can be just as, if not more, frustrating for the child. In Ep 36: "Saving Our Children And Their Education During A Pandemic," Dr. Nadia Lopez walks us through the challenges affecting most New York City public schools, especially those in impoverished neighborhoods, like Brownsville. Dr. Lopez highlights the hardships of homeschooling, discusses IEP / SETSS students, identifies the weaknesses and inequities in our educational system, challenges the public to be more active in elections, and offers sound advice to discouraged parents.
