AND THE "MOM OF THE YEAR" AWARD GOES TO...Despite being one of the oldest superheroes in comics, the character formerly known as Captain Marvel never made it to the silver screen until 2019. Even during the superhero movie boom of the 2000's and with Dwayne "The Dwayne" Dwayneson attached to the project as Black Adam as far back as 2007, it took ages for Billy to finally say the magic word on the big screen.
