EP. 36: What Your Resentment is Trying to Tell You

from Life and Love by Design · host Odette Coronel

Resentment is a common feeling in relationships. It happens when one or both partners feel like they aren’t being appreciated by the other, and they don’t know how to fix it. That’s where I come in. Resenting your partner doesn’t mean you have to end the relationship. I rarely see partners who resent each other break up after relationship coaching. Because resentment isn’t an emotion that automatically triggers divorce. It is, however, a catalyst for change. In this week’s episode, we’re talking about what your resentment is trying to tell you. I have a couple I’ve been coaching through a season of resentment, and I thought that by sharing it, I could help more couples take the first step towards mending their relationships. This is all anonymous, of course, but I will be sharing the strategies used to help my clients identify their resentment and how they could heal their relationship. Tune in to hear what this couple's resentment was telling them and how I coached them through this season of resentment towards a healthier version of their relationship. How to work with Odette:Book a free consultation call for the Next Level Woman: Life & Love by Design Experience here!Check out more information on the Next Level Woman: Life & Love by Design Experience, Odette’s six-month coaching program, here!Book a consultation call for Odettes’s Life Coaching Services here! Book a consultation call for Odettes’s Couples Coaching Services here! Sign up for a Complimentary RELATIONSHIP & LIFE ALIGNMENT AUDITBuy the Re-ignite Your Spark Journal here! Follow Odette on: Instagram @‌odettecoronelcoachingTikTok @‌odetterelationshipcoach   LinkedIn: Odette CoronelWebsite: www.odettecoronel.comPodcast production for this episode was provided by CCST, an Afro-Latina-owned boutique podcast production and copywriting studio.
