The ascension of and submission to the matriarchal culture in the black community have given rise to a new sect of men. The “Passport Bros” are forgoing relationships with American women to seek companionship with women from other countries who share more traditional values lacking in this country. “With no institution or individual addressing the major rift between black men and women, the men are abandoning American women, searching for women in other countries who are not hostile toward traditional relationship roles,” Jason says.
