On today’s show, we go through the history of the Mariel boatlifts from Cuba, the Nicaraguan migration in 1989, and the Haitian boat people in the early 1990s to show how past presidents, including Bill Clinton, refused to tolerate an invasion through bogus asylum. There is nothing new about what is happening with Central Americans. What is new is that we have a government unwilling to do what previous presidents did to shut it down, whether it was preventing them from landing or setting up tent cities. Finally, I round off the show with a lightning round of stories you might have missed, from ethanol and Tim Scott blocking more judicial nominees to how Fox News is now censoring conservative thought on what is supposed to be the conservative network.
