Ep 38: Jodi Wille (Filmmaker, Curator, and Book Publisher) Focus on the Book - Family: The Source Family Scrapbook and The Unarius Academy I talk with Jodi Wille about her long term book, documentary, and archival project with The Source Family and her work with The Unarius Academy of Science in making a short and feature film about them. We also get into her photography work with The Sparks and R.E.M, and how meeting Howard Finster, and other outsider artists, changed her worldview. About Jodi Wille Jodi Wille an independent filmmaker, book publisher and curator who explores subcultures and people on the edges whose extraordinary true stories and creations leave us with new understandings. Her immersive yet reflective point of view has led her to create works of distinction that build bridges to "the other."She directed and produced the documentary THE SOURCE FAMILY (2013) and is currently directing a feature documentary called WELCOME, SPACE BROTHERS, (about Ruth Norman and The Unarius Academy of Science) now in post-production.She made a living as a rock band photographer and music video director.
