Ep 40: My Bloom Story

from Bloom Your Mind · host Marie McDonald

In this episode, I’m sharing a story I didn't know if I would ever tell, but I had an experience this week that really brought an old memory to the front of my mind, which made me feel compelled to share it with you.One of my two best friends told me she wishes everyone could hear this story, because sometimes people hit a bottom in life and feel like they're in a point that they'll never get out of, and it can be hard to see that things can be different, that things get easier, that things inevitably change. The one constant in life is change, and it's so hopeful to hear the stories of people that worked their way out of a very bottom from their life and back to a place that they love.So I'm going to tell my “bloom” story about what happened this week, and how it reminded me of what I've been through, because I worked for a full decade to get from my bottom, back to a place that I love. Let’s get into it …What you'll learn in this episode:Why feelings are your superpower that help you direct the course of your life How pursuing your goals makes life so much easier in the day-to-dayAs you become fluent in how your brain works, it becomes the ultimate user manual How to orient yourself back to who you want to be and “bloom” in your everyday lifeMentioned in this episode: Ep 18: The Tool That Changed EverythingInto the Mystic by Van MorrisonHow to connect with Marie:On the Web | The Local BloomInstagram: @the.bloom.coachAll Things Marie on LinkTreeJOIN THE BLOOM ROOM!We'll take all these ideas and apply them to our lives.
