Ep. 40 | Unraveling Anxious Attachments

from Wildfire & Flowers · host Paula Dicu & Vanessa Demello

Amongst the various attachment styles, anxious attachments have been coming up a lot lately for your co-hostesses.  Although the secure attachment style is the ideal one, sometimes... we have what we have, and it's our responsibility to unpack and understand our ways so that we can work towards what we want (which is to be secure in our attachments).  In this episode, P & V discuss how even though you can be secure in yourself, there is still anxiousness in unmet needs that is so real when we live in tandem and in community.  Sometimes this may lead to having difficult conversations, embodying frustration, lowering unrealistic expectations, and recognizing where you hyperfocus. Energy goes where attention flows, so be mindful of who you breathe life into. This podcast episode is filled with shares, personal reflections, breaking down the concept of anxious attachment styles, where they stem from, and how you can break free from this way of being.
