Ep. 46 | Dispelling Fear from the Body

Fear is one of those emotions that can lock us down. And yet, it's also a very natural human thing to experience. Fear was important for our survival instincts, but the times of running and hiding from predators is far behind us. As human beings that desire to expand, to create our best realities and live a beautiful life, we must also learn how to manage and dispel from from our bodies. Tara Brach said that the first step to nudging fear out of our lives is to accept it. That means recognizing it’s there and saying, “OK, but it’s not taking over.” We must pause, breathe, feel & allow it to leave our mind & bodies.

Ep. 45 | The Cost of Limited Beliefs

Our limiting beliefs come with a cost, preventing us from expanding and embodying our full potential as people. Marianne Williamson, Author of A Return to Love, has written: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?" Our limiting beliefs are there as a result of the habitual patterns that we have developed over the years. They may stem from childhood, and they may even be ancestral thought patterns. To replace these ideas with new ones, and unlock new layers of possibilities, we must, first, become aware of our thoughts and the realities that we create with our words. We both believe in the power of community & friendships to help along this process of reclaiming our power. As mirrors of one another, P&V dive more into the cost of limiting beliefs in Episode 45.

Ep. 44 | Making Friends as Adults

Friends can provide us with a beautiful sense of community & belonging. And most importantly, making friends as an adult is important for our emotional well-being. But it's not always so straight forward to know HOW to make new friends when we are older. People develop their routines, and our social circles may remain consistent throughout the years...unless we actively put ourselves in new situations in order to attract the new friends we desire. P&V chat about their personal experiences and the ways in which they go about making friends in adulthood. And remember: if you desire to attract new friends in your life, it all stems from that one intention. There are millions of people in this world, and although you aren't for everyone, your vibe does attract your tribe.

Ep. 43 | Microdosing On Impermanence

All things are temporary. Everything around is in a constant state of change, which is the beauty of impermanence. A flower, once picked, only lasts for a short period of time. Before long, it will wilt before our very eyes, turning to gray & dust. The impermanence of life can help us appreciate the present moment. When we understand that everything is impermanent, we are less likely to become overly attached to things or people. We recognize that all things are fleeting, and that trying to hold onto them only causes suffering. What would it be like to truly appreciate and savour each moment? When we recognize that the present moment is all that we have, and so there is nowhere else to be than right here. In Episode 43, P&V chat about the benefit of microdosing on impermanence, or being aware of this fluctuating nature of everything around us.

Ep. 42 | Maximizing Efficiency in Life with Joy

Maximizing efficiency in life can help you to accomplish more in less time, which will allow you to pursue more of your goals and aspirations. It can also help you to reduce stress, manage your workload more effectively, and increase your sense of satisfaction and fulfillment in life. However, it's important to note that efficiency should not be pursued at the expense of joy. While it's true that productivity can help you to achieve your goals and feel more fulfilled, it's also important to take time to enjoy the process of working towards those goals. Finding a balance between productivity and joy can be challenging, but it's important to remember that these two goals are not mutually exclusive. By focusing on efficiency and productivity, you can create more time and space in your life for the things that bring you joy, and by prioritizing joy and fulfillment, you can cultivate a sense of purpose and meaning that will help you to stay motivated and engaged in your work.
In Episode 42, P&V deep dive into maximizing efficiency in life with joy.

Ep. 41 | Are We Free People?

Freedom. As people, we desire to be ‘free.’ But what does freedom look like? Autonomy over one’s own life & the choices that are being made is one way that freedom can be exercised. But we cannot talk about freedom without speaking to the state of the world. As V puts it, “We are not free until everyone is free.” And there is much to be done in the name of global freedom. In episode 41, P & V chat about this state of freedom and the importance of storytelling to bring about the revolution. The power of change does lie in our hands, but in order to move forward, we must remember our unity as people. Freedom requires all of us to show up. And for those of us that have the ability to do so, it’s important to make choices in daily life that will fill your cup. Do not cage yourself by your own limitations. It’s with our resiliency that we can truly show up in the world with the power that is required to inspire and strengthen the collective.

Ep. 40 | Unraveling Anxious Attachments

Amongst the various attachment styles, anxious attachments have been coming up a lot lately for your co-hostesses.  Although the secure attachment style is the ideal one, sometimes... we have what we have, and it's our responsibility to unpack and understand our ways so that we can work towards what we want (which is to be secure in our attachments).  In this episode, P & V discuss how even though you can be secure in yourself, there is still anxiousness in unmet needs that is so real when we live in tandem and in community.  Sometimes this may lead to having difficult conversations, embodying frustration, lowering unrealistic expectations, and recognizing where you hyperfocus. Energy goes where attention flows, so be mindful of who you breathe life into. This podcast episode is filled with shares, personal reflections, breaking down the concept of anxious attachment styles, where they stem from, and how you can break free from this way of being. Ep. 39 | Intellectualizing Your Emotions

Rejection, heartbreak, grief & loss are emotional wounds that the body feels.  But at what point is talking and thinking about the situation that brought you these emotions productive or is it avoidant... In this week's episode of Wildfire and Flowers, P & V dive right into the hot topic of intellectualizing your emotions.  This is the defense mechanism skill that is also used as a coping mechanism to block confrontation and avoid feeling your feels by logically explaining and talking about the emotions instead. We as humans sometimes get stuck where we think that if we solve the problem and try to mentally discern everything, then you won't have to feel it.  This is an unconscious mindset around stopping yourself from feeling your emotions, because they can be.. alot! Your co-hostesses discuss how to deconstruct shame and grief and the emotions we tie to situations, how to balance and express emotions in a healthy way, sharing personal stories of how they've and setting loving boundaries with yourself so you can honor your emotions in a healthy way.

Ep. 38 | Putting Pleasure and Play into Practice

Life is the balance between work and play, discipline and pleasure, and everything in between. In many of our latest episodes we've touched upon the importance of discipline and being more grounded in your day to day life.  In this episode, we discuss the importance of prioritizing play, (shoutout to our Type A listeners), because play is a skill set that is all about being HERE and available to the present moment.  We have a responsibility to bring this attractive vitality to our lives, in a strategic, zealous manner.   What activities did you love doing as a child? How can you increase your capacity to feel more joy in a day? How can I change my attitude around playfulness in a world that requires me to be responsible and action oriented? Tune in and find out how!

Ep. 37 | Bouncing Back, Boundaries & Blockages

When you hit a heavy emotional low point, knowing that there's no where but up isn't the easiest thing to comprehend in that moment.  What ties you back to reality is the 'SELF'.  This relates you self worth, your commitment to self, and self awareness.  In this week's episode, P & V give you all the tidbits, tea and one liners on how you can nourish yourself to a state where you can easily bound back to a happy healthy you.  Discussed in this episode are how we carry the lessons within us, awareness of where you dedicate your time, feelings vs. logic and success. Ep. 36 | Challenge the Thought & Follow Through

Happy New Year 2023!  Welcome back as we invite you to tune into our first episode of the year! In our last year's new year episode, (episode 14 - check it out!), we discussed how a new year doesn't necessarily mean a whole new you but it could mean a mentality shift, or it could simply mean another day of intentionality - and that is wonderful too!  Throughout 2022 we've touched on the topics of discipline, consistency, and goal setting, so in this week's episode, we magnify the challenges that appear when trying to follow through on a task/action or activity.  It's very common to find oneself stuck in a mental loop or thought pattern which prevents one from following through on said task/action or activity - and THAT dear listeners, is what we're here to talk about. This episode touches on our personal experiences, healthy stressors, phone addiction, and tips to help challenge the mental traps we can find ourselves in.

  13. 36

Ep. 35 | Musings & Sacred Decision Making

We have made it to the end of the year 2022, and in honour of closing off the year, P & V have decided to reflect and chat about what it really means to feel into a soulful yes or no.  This embodied practice of decision making is aligned to your gut feeling and strengthening that connection in a world that craves for you to seek alignment externally.  In this episode, your co-hostesses chat about the times they've had to meet a resistance, play within the harmonies of life, own their agency and autonomy, and embrace the various emotions we are gifted to experience. When tuning in, we invite you to reflect on your year, to show gratitude for all that you have experienced, and to release it to make space for a new.  Allow 2023 to be the year of re-committing to you. This will be the final episode of the year.  Keep in touch with us on our instagram @wildfire.and.flowers for more insights and sparkle. See you in 2023, our dearest listeners, & thank you as always for being here with us & for us xo

  14. 35

Ep. 34 | Rooted in You vs. Surrendering to the External

There are two different situations that we can meet in life.  One where we have to stand rooted in our being in order to not succumb to the energy of our environment or where the environment calls us to change our energy and how we operate.  This is the flow of being that life calls us to be immersed in, as there's only so much expectations we can put on the outcome of life.  In this episode P & V discuss the power of taking a moment for yourself to pause, breathe & state an intention before entering a room.  Navigating your beliefs and maintaining an alignment in a crowded room takes a lot of internal power and ego release - so how will you choose to ride it out in a conversation?

  15. 34

    Ep. 33 | Re-directing Flow & Stagnant Energies

If your state of peace and being were a river, and the events and emotions we endure are the twigs, sticks and logs that build upon each other, what would happen?  An immense pressure of water flow, a dam creating a blockage, and each water droplet re-routing itself and changing its course.  This is applicable to deep emotions and situations we find ourselves in as they build up overtime, and we are left to navigate life's stresses when we are already in a state of abyss.  How can one find the strength to remove each stick?  How can one want to uncover all the events and emotions when it takes a lot of energy?  Paula and Vanessa ponder and reflect on the emotional toll and high it takes to re-direct yourself back to love, back to joy & back to flow.  Take note of the visuals referenced in this episode as you reflect on the knots, streams & blockages that come up for you.

  16. 33

Ep. 32 | Processing Leads To Pleasure

After a minor hiatus, Paula and Vanessa are back to share their experiences after processing some big events and big emotions as well as some tips & tools they've used to navigate along the way.  This episode is an invitation for you to evaluate how you are feeling, and how you are choosing to or not to interact and process any emotions you are feeling.  Sensations of fatigue, of yearning for community, and even resistance may all come up - and that is so welcomed!  The roads of integration and processing lead to pleasure, and we encourage you to feel through it all in your time. Ep. 31 | Beauty In Decay

As we have just surpassed Autumn Equinox, the beginning of a transformational shift in the seasons. In Earths cyclical nature, we notice the way the leaves change color and the weather gets cooler, so it's important to note that we as creatures of the Earth, change as well.  This episode is all about honouring the inner seasons, and how the body requires different levels of rest to rejuvenate within each season in a society that demands us to express our internal summer energy all year round. Rest is a revolutionary act, P & V encourage you to create pockets of leisure for yourself and to remember that there is beauty in slowing down. Ep. 30 | Our Lips Aren't Sealed

In this day and age, we are encouraged to use our voice and speak our truth, and scream our desires from the rooftop.  As wonderful as that is, there still is this underlying suppression that a lot of women face due to generations before us/them being silenced in the matriarch lineage.  Standing in your power and being the voice that aligns with your values while maintaining boundaries takes effort, choice and bravery.  In this episode P & V explore the doubts they've had when not speaking their truth, the times they have taken up space to vocalize a desire, and also note how others perceptions of you can influence the way you speak. You have a voice that deserves to be heard, whether it's in a safe space, or amidst conflict.  This episode encourages you to reflect on what it means to stand firm and rooted in yourself. "Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free." - Robert Tew Diana Ross TikTok on spirituality and positivity

Ep. 29 | The Lowlights of Committing to Your Goals

It's so natural for humans to have a goal, work towards that goal, and then depending on your mood, situation or any external circumstance, the goal may lose it's priority.  Even with this level of understanding, it can feel challenging and even frustrating when roadblocks come your way.  The TRUE essence of ones soul comes into play when we meet a crossroad as such -- how will you navigate this challenge?  What are the stories you tell yourself?  Who are you surrounding yourself with to amplify the voices? Committing to yourself has it's ebbs and flows which your co-hostesses P & V know all about.  This is an episode filled with stories, shared experiences, tips and tricks to navigate goal setting from a coaching lens and as always, the lens of two ladies in their late 20's simply going with the motions. We support you on your goals and the journey through it all! Your Vision Guidebook by We Bond

Ep. 28 | Pressure Doesn't Always Make Diamonds

Every generation endures their own forms of challenges and waves to navigate.  In this day and age, alot of folks in their mid to late 20's are really feeling the pressures of our system in regards to the pandemic, expectations, social media, and all around comparison.  Regardless of how self aware one can be, the pressure can still lead to spiralling and stagnation when you're trying to get through the day and achieve your goals.  In this episode P&V discuss capitalism and consumerist culture we operate in, and chat about what we can do to revolutionize the choices you make about your mindset, to reimagine the possibilities of what life can be life to relieve yourself from the pressures of society. This episode also discusses decolonizing money and time, the cyclical nature of the masculine & feminine, and how we can operate from the frequency of love to better ourselves and the world.

  21. 28

    Ep. 27 | Navigating Disappointment

Life has it's ups and downs, and within those down's, lies navigating the sensation disappointment that one feels towards themselves, or externally!  Whether it's the disappointment felt towards a person, yourself, a career goal, a lifestyle... the feeling is all too real. We hear you, we see you. Disappointment all relay's to the expectation that one has toward the concept.  V & P explore their journey with their awareness when it comes to the musky waters of managing expectations, control, cycles and attachment.  Also noted in this episode is the way the mother archetype can interplay in disappointment.    Bless, release, and let love flow through you.

  22. 27

    Ep. 26 | Anniversary Celebrations

New week, New episode & New intro, OH MY!!! After a 3 week hiatus, P & V are back after celebrating the one year anniversary of Wildfire and Flowers. It has been a time of reflection for how incredible this year has been for us as podcast co-hostesses and just as human beings in general! In this week’s episode, we encourage you to take the time to reflect, to celebrate your wins, to maintain a state of gratitude, and to loudly call in your desires so that they come into fruition. You are a powerful creator, and this episode is here to reflect that embodied mindset incase it slipped away for a moment.

  23. 26

    Ep. 25 | Lustful Reflections

Lust.  One of the Seven Deadly Sins.  A sensation we have experienced at some point in our lives to an extent.  Is this a good thing?  How does it differ from admiration, desire, or love.  And to lust or fall for a person without even fully knowing them.. is this an ethical and respectful way of being?  P & V discuss the ins and outs of their relationship to lust and some thought provoking insights.  This episode also talks about how when we admire someone or see a beautiful trait in another, we have the capacity to view that in another because we have it in ourselves.

  24. 25

    Ep. 24 | A State of Solitude

How often do you step back to integrate, to reflect, to be in solitude and allow your inner knowing to flourish? It can be so beautiful to have a moment alone, but in this day and age with the amounts of distractions, busyness and noise polution, we don't often gift ourselves this time.  And in the moments that we do, memories and undesirable sensations can come up, so it can be a bit scary.  Your awareness when in a state of solitude is all about you, it’s enjoying your own company - you are your longest relationship, you will live with yourself, no matter where you go, no matter where you are, you still have you!  In this episode, P & V discuss the intentionality of how you spend time with yourself, and it's sacred nature.  The co-hostesses share some tips on how to ease into spending time alone, shared experiences, and reminders along the way of how to balance community time and alone time. Remember, it’s a privilege to GET to spend time with you.

  25. 24

    Ep. 23 | Meaning & Moving Energy

Here on Wildfire & Flowers, we talk about how sensations lead to emotions which lead to thoughts and then create an action.  But let's take a step back here - the moment we feel a sensation, an emotional response is evoked, but we CHOOSE to give the emotion a meaning.  That is very much a huge part of the human experience whether it be a positive or not so positive elicited response.  The way external situations take up space in certain areas of the body is absolutely fascinating and the highlighted topic in this week's episode.  When energy is stored in the body, we also have the capability of moving to different areas of the body and out of the body.  This is similar to moving through, to, or out of a situation in the real world, directionally or as a goal; and the key to that is... intentionality!   Also covered in episode 23 is the power of language, doing things you love with like minded souls, letting go of the past, tantric energy, cord cutting rituals and purple & gold mushrooms. Mentioned in this week's episode: @brendendurell @iamkendallnichole

  26. 23

Ep. 22 | Showing Up In The Shadows

Welcome back to a new Wildfire & Flowers episode where P & V are back at it again after a 1 week break.  Sometimes, life asks us to slow down, the body asks for healing and rest, and the mind begins to spiral and work overtime.. welcome to the shadows.  Loving yourself while you're in the middle of the muddy waters can be so challenging, and getting yourself out of this non-pleasurable emotional state can feel almost impossible.  In this week's episode, your co-hostesses discuss the tools they use while they're amidst the darkness, how consistency and discipline is more important than motivation, and the importance of protecting your energy while on this healing journey. It's okay to meet your body where it's at - welcome the collapse; let the body do the healing work. Follow us on IG @wildfire.and.flowers for updates on workshops!

Ep. 21 | Choosing to Show Up, Daring to be Seen

Here in the Wildfire & Flowers community, we love to talk about being your most authentic self.  When it comes to the various roles you play in your life and take into consideration the multifaceted individual you are, and all the layers of emotions and stories that you carry, how is it possible to show up authentically the same way in every scenario you find yourself in?  The underlying theme here is attuning to your values and the awareness of how you want to show up in the world.  On the flip side of showing up, the idea of being seen can be an act of bravery and vulnerability in and of itself as we all seek acceptance.  In this episode, P & V discuss their personal journeys of showing up and being seen in the real world, through social media and the abundance of awareness lightbulbs that have come along the way.  Mentioned in this week's episode:  A Return To Love by Marianne Williamson  Wildfire & Flower's Immersive Workshop Experience, Unconscious To Mystic; The Art Of Intuitive Discernment on 04/22/22 at 6pm ET.  Hope to see you there!

  28. 21

Ep. 20 | Toxic Positivity; Is it Positively Toxic?

There's such a fine line when it comes to holding space for someone who's presently feeling darker emotions without dismissing them and also ensuring you have the capability of being there for them.  When a person feels uncomfortable dealing with someone who's in a low vibrational state and negates their shadow emotions by essentially asking them to bypass their feelings and shrug it off, that dear friends, is called toxic positivity.  In this episode, Paula and Vanessa discuss how when we choose to be present and hold space for someone rather than being toxically positive, it creates a moment of raw authentic human connection and genuine love.  The co-hostesses share their own personal experiences of when they've been the toxic positive friend and visa versa.  At the end of the day, we are choosing to become better human beings and learning how to be more comfortable with all the ebbs and flows of the human experience. Embodiment takes loving boundaries and compassion.

  29. 20

Ep. 19 | Reclaiming Your Sovereignty

Do you notice the way we sometimes easily doubt ourselves and seek external validation? What is the healthy balance of using your own wisdom, knowledge and intuition verses seeking assurance from friends, family or even the internet? This is a really juicy topic that P & V look to explore in episode 19. Owning your Sovereignty and Reclaiming your truth are words heavily used in the spiritual community, and they have great importance and your co-hostesses share their thoughts about. In this episode, the concept of exercising your self awareness muscle, looking at what is the norm vs. what is normal, and the different lenses of life to reclaim your sovereignty are explored! You can also find an incredible self coaching tool to help you in your daily practice.  "A peaceful nervous system, it can make some great decisions"  Mentioned in Episode 19: Discovering Your Authentic Workshop; Immersive Experience hosted by P + V on March 22 6pm ET

Ep. 18 | Healing Creative Expression

Close your eyes, and picture an artist - what do you see? A painter, a sculptor, a photographer? How long does it take before you see yourself? Innately, we are all artists and creators. Our inner artist comes in various shapes, mediums and forms. Creating comes through channeling emotions and transmuting any sensations you are feeling in the body. Artists create to heal themselves, the collective, and to bring unity through the commonalities of the human experience. P & V discuss their relationship to art and how creativity has helped them work through the multiverse of emotions and situations they've been through, the balance of belonging, channeling authentic expression, and working alongside the inner critic. The creation process is honoured just as much as the end result. In this episode, we encourage you to work with your inner child, shadow artist, and to recognize the creator that you are. Mentioned in this episode: Paula's mentor, Danielle Khan Da Silva A highly recommended read - The Artists Way by Julia Cameron

Ep. 17 | The Evolution of Romance & Intimacy

Love is one of the biggest mysteries of life that makes up a huge part of our human experience.  As two young ladies in our mid-late 20’s, our thoughts on romance and intimacy have drastically changed from when we were little girls to where we are now. V & P also note how these nuances of love that we are conditioned with, become engrained into our mindset and the way we accept or choose to experience intimacy. There is so much to deep dive into when it comes to attachment styles, eye contact, self awareness and meeting your own needs. Your co-hostesses get intimate on the topics of intimacy and romance in this episode, and although it can be a little scary and vulnerable to open up on the reality of these feelings, it's very healthy to do so when you feel safe - 10/10 recommend! Ep. 16 | The Essence of Home

Home is a safe space, It's a feeling, a place of real estate where your precious belongings reside, a place to rest your head and a physical representation of what makes you, you.  In this episode, P & V discuss the emotionality of a home vs. a house, and how through this pandemic, many of us have discovered the ways we express our true nature in our homes.  During this time where we are being asked to stay at home, it has caused folks to re-evaluate what makes a house a home, and re-define what they want to come ‘home’ to.  In this sweet sixteen episode, the co-hostesses chat about the importance of taking care of your home, your mind, body, and the earth, and the relativeness of all these nurturing elements.   Topics around the impermanence of beauty, resisting attachment, and conscious awareness are brought to the table as well. When we  take care of our home, our home takes care of us. As mentioned in the episode: Dr. Cyndi Gilbert's book on Forest Bathing Online Platform; Corals and Bees - promoting environmentalism and climate change

Ep. 15 | Supportive Structures for Mental Wellness

As a global collective, we are undergoing huge waves of pandemic trauma.  In previous episodes, P & V have talked about where they stand mentally during the podcast check-ins and steps they've taken to support their mental wellbeing.  With the level of uncertainty in our lives, we don't necessarily have the correct structures or systems in place, and that can be very frustrating.  What we do have power over, is creating systems and structures in our lives and implement them within our family, community and individual units, to support our realities.  In this week's episode, we cover the weight that our bodies are holding and how we can release it, ways that you can find your inner grounding via stories shared, and highlighting the pockets of pleasurable moments in your day.

    Ep. 14 | New Year New Me(ntality)

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022!  As we immerse ourselves into the new year, set our resolutions, and wave farewell to 2021, it's important to take a moment of reflection as we tie up loose ends and make way for the future we are manifesting.  When preparing for the new year, (or even a new week or day) it's so important to make sure you are setting goals that are fun, desirable, and aligned to YOUR truth.  Sometimes it's not always about emerging into a new you, but simply changing your perspective and mentality on life.  Expectations are tough and can put so much pressure on us; so in this episode, P & V remind you to allow your childlike wonder to shine through as that is your personal awareness and authenticity showing when setting goals for the new year.  The co-hostesses share their latest interactions with social media and how it's affected their new year goals, as well as the spiritual deaths and emotional grief we feel as a collective when stepping into the new and saying goodbye to the old. smart goals: https://www.nytimes.com/guides/smarterliving/resolution-ideas

Ep. 13 | The Love You Deserve

Everything stems from the power within and the love that encompasses our communal truth.  This concept of self love and how we can be the ultimate giver and receiver to heal ourselves is ultimate power.  This is not done solely through the individual, as P & V explore how self love is rich through the guidance of community.  The other concepts explored in this episode is showing up for yourself, love languages, and how self worth is a strong driver of your life choices and life force. This episode is dedicated to the power and honor of the late Bell Hooks.  May she rest in peace. Love language quiz: https://www.5lovelanguages.com/quizzes/love-language

  36. 13

Ep. 12 | Manifest Your Dream Life

The word manifest has been thrown around left right and centre in the past few years, and as wonderful (or overused) as it is, P & V take you through a deep dive into what manifesting REALLY is and how you can do it. The concept of manifesting is so powerful, as it’s the union of prayer and personal desires coming together with goals and the abundance of the universe in perfect alignment. This harmony can be achieved but it takes effort, practice & patience. Fear and the subconscious are huge factors that play a role, and aren’t often talked about enough with the glamorization of manifesting, so your favourite co-hostesses take the liberty of guiding you through some of their own personal journeys as they traverse the human experience. As always, this episode is filled with love, giggles and all the good vibes. Ep. 11 | It's Okay To Let It Go

Manifestation and goal setting can be so wonderful and really help you attune into the reality you want to create for yourself. But have you ever found yourself in a space where you’re hitting a wall and noticing that your manifestation is all wrong, wonky, and not going as planned? In this week’s episode, Paula & Vanessa share their current experience of having to release and let go of a shared dream, because it’s simply not meant to be. It’s okay if things don’t show up the way we intend for them to, we are merely the co-creators of our life. Let the universe work it’s magic as well, it’s okay to let it go. And when in doubt… get down on it! (& by ‘it’, we mean your intuition!)

Ep. 10 | Gratitude Amidst Chaos

In deep moments of despair, the first thing we do is begin to self sabotage by neglecting our self care routine and immersing into all the feelings of anxiousness, helplessness and ick.  Paula and Vanessa hear you, and see you, and have their own fair share of experiences as such.  As important as it is to allow the body to process the negative feels fully and complete their cycle, when it's time to get out of this stage, we want to immediately be happy again.  The reality is, this moment too shall pass, but it's all a part of this journey that we call life!  In Episode 10, we discuss and recognize that it may seem close to impossible to remain grateful in these darker cloudy moments, but this practice of stating your gratitude in all the good, bad, and in-between moments, raises your vibration and can help you through and out of the moment of despair.  Tune in to the frequency to hear how the co-hostesses have recently experienced chaos, and how acknowledging their gratefulness helped them through the dark clouds.

Ep. 9 | Desire, Restlessness & Patience, Oh My!

Those uneasy sensations, such as restlessly waiting for test results, waiting for that paycheck to come through, waiting for that heated argument you had with your friend last week to cool down, waiting for that approval... oh goddess gracious me!  It's so time consuming to worry about the results when we are attached to a desired outcome.  We understand how being patient when it comes to the expectations we have is not a desirable sensation and all the different ways restlessness shows up in the body *insert all the foot taps and pacing up and down*.  Through explorative shared experiences, lots of giggles, and deep breaths, P & V chat about some tools they've learnt along the way when faced with the anxiousness that comes with wanting to be in the state of knowing when we yearn for an aligned outcome.

Ep. 8 | Voice of the Vessel

We have become so dissociated as a collective, from our intuitive nature of our bodies, and the way our individual body is constantly communicating with us.  We ignore the signals to prioritize other aspects of life, and we put ourselves last.  In this episode, V & P talk about how you can re-sensitize yourself to get more in touch with your physical being in the healthiest way possible.   We must care for these vessels that do so much for us. Honor your body, it can show you the way.  And remember..."Butterflies in your stomach?  That is your ancestors telling you to run away!"

Ep. 7 | The Beauty in Setting Boundaries

Through the waves and shifts in life, we learn the best way to advocate for ourselves comes through setting boundaries.  The intentionality behind setting a boundary, whether it's done from a place of love, or a strong emotion, can impact the outcome of the situation.  Whether you are setting a  boundary with a friend, with your own self when it comes to your social media usage, or even re-evaluating the current boundaries you have set in place in your life right now; this episode is for you.  In this week's episode, Paula and Vanessa chat about the healthiness of boundary setting, the emotional turmoil that may come along with it, and remind you that it's okay to own your power and truth.   Setting boundaries to protect your peace is a high vibe thing to do.

Ep. 6 | Taking Responsibility for Your Life

In today's episode, P & V discuss responsibility.  How does that word make you feel?  We all hold a sense of responsibility for certain aspects of our life - our jobs, family members, roles in friendships, household responsibilities.. and the list goes on.  At the end of the day, you are responsible for your life, the way you act or react to situations, and the emotions you hold or even cause others to feel.  This episode is a reminder to OWN EVERY SINGLE PART OF YOU!  We encourage you through this episode to take the opportunity to re-frame your relationship with the word 'responsibility' as it's simply an opportunity to learn and grow in practice!  Claim that responsibility & take back your power!  It's yours to grow with & share with the world!

Ep. 5 | A Return To Self Trust

Situations may arise in our life where we go against our own values, others lose trust in us, and most importantly, we thought we were following our intuition and exploring something in this journey, and end up clashing with everyone around us and our own self.  Navigating a journey back to self trust can be so painful, heart wrenching and confusing. We hear you, we see you, we are you. This is a topic that P & V have resonated with in different points of their lives, but also is coming up very prominently these days.  What's love without trust?  And how can we go back to honoring our own internal wisdom and believing in ourselves again?  In this episode, your co-hostesses' cover the ins and outs of all things self trust and the path to trusting your intuition aka flowing into your own frequency!

Ep. 4 | Gaining Freedom Through Discipline

If you were to ask yourself, what you want out of this life, you may say happiness, peace, or maybe even freedom.  The concept of freedom and its nature can seem like such an abstract construct, but if the word exists.. then so must a meaning.. right!?  And in this world of rules and logic, we are somehow all seeking this sense of freedom - oh the human experience and all its glory!   In this episode, P & V get into their feelings and chat about what freedom means to them, how can we access freedom without limitations, and give you some fun prompts to ponder on.  These firey and flowy souls also talk about how the idea of discipline and structure is required in order to be free.  Such a contradiction... but once you listen to the episode.. you'll understand ;)  The topic of love may or may not also be dabbled upon in this episode...so let's flow into the frequency and find out!

Ep. 3 | Tune Out The Noise & Tune Into The Now

Human nature is understanding that there is the past, present, and future - and drifting between all three spaces.  But the truth of the matter is, all we have is now - the present moment, and within this grounding, lies the truth and joy of life itself.  On this Episode of Wildfire & Flowers, P & V examine the intricacies of what it means to be present, discuss ways in which they focus on the now, and share experiences where thoughts of the past and the future got a good hold of them. At the end of the day... it's really all just monkey business (LOL)  So let's play and have fun - because all we have is now.

Ep. 2 | Main Character Energy & Romanticizing Your Life

Main Character Energy and Romanticizing Your Life is a trend that is all the rage on social media.  We as humans, are aware that we are the co-creators of our universe, but we tend to forget to have fun with it.  Your co-hostesses' Vanessa and Paula discuss what this vibe is all about, and uncover how we can make the daily mundane activities in our lives, more exciting and joyful.  On this week's episode, all things main character energy are discussed and the concept of filling up your own cup is heavily romanticized (because self care is very cool) Please Note:  This episode is filled with lots of love, insight and giggles

Ep. 1 | How Do You Identify?

On Episode 1 of Wildfire & Flowers, Paula and Vanessa take a dive into the concept of identity.  Is your identity aligned to your personality?  Is it stagnant and linear?  If there are shifts in your personality is that okay?  Many of us have struggled with understanding our identity, tying it to our careers, self worth, and in relation to things or people around us.  As humans, we are comfortably uncomfortable with the identity shifts we go through at different points of our lives.  Your co-hostesses' share their personal journeys with their identity, and even give you a few tips to help you curate a deeper relationship to your own self.
