This week, I’ll be sitting down with Corey Petersen. She is a clinically licensed psychotherapist and owner of the group practice, Communication and Connection Therapy ( https://www.communicationandconnection.com). She is currently earning her 5th college degree, and first Ph.D., in Organisational Communication researching diagnostic communication and clinician interactions. Corey has been teaching collegiately for over six years, teaching courses in psychology and communication. Before becoming a psychotherapist, she worked in various fields including social media marketing, professional development, and became certified in speech writing by interning as a speechwriter for a former senate majority leader. When Corey is not teaching, working in her private practice, or researching for her dissertation, she is a community advocate for inclusivity in the workplace.
