Ep. 43 | Microdosing On Impermanence

from Wildfire & Flowers · host Paula Dicu & Vanessa Demello

All things are temporary. Everything around is in a constant state of change, which is the beauty of impermanence. A flower, once picked, only lasts for a short period of time. Before long, it will wilt before our very eyes, turning to gray & dust. The impermanence of life can help us appreciate the present moment. When we understand that everything is impermanent, we are less likely to become overly attached to things or people. We recognize that all things are fleeting, and that trying to hold onto them only causes suffering. What would it be like to truly appreciate and savour each moment? When we recognize that the present moment is all that we have, and so there is nowhere else to be than right here. In Episode 43, P&V chat about the benefit of microdosing on impermanence, or being aware of this fluctuating nature of everything around us.
