With golf being a family affair for the Foley’s, Shawn and his father made many attempts at creating at-home golf experiences, but one instance stands out the most.When Shawn was in high school, the basement flooded. His family decided to implement a subfloor in an attempt to mitigate damages in case of another flood. Additionally, they built a 200 square-foot putting green, laying turf on top and drilling putting cups into the floor. This experience was the inspiration for building the Rain or Shine brand.
