EP 50: Daydreams & Doors Off Hinges (like our parents)

This week we confess how maladaptive daydreaming basically turned us into unpaid directors of imaginary music videos, rom-coms, and Oscar-worthy scenarios in our heads and we’re just waiting or someone to produce this with us (obviously we have our award speeches ready) 🎬✨Naturally, that spirals into music → trauma → laughing at our own trauma (our favorite hobby)-Which is perfect timing, because we read YOUR answers to our prompt of the week: “What’s the craziest way your parent punished you?” Desi parents are unhinged (& so were our bedroom doors) from homeland marriage threats to your standard thappar👋🏼Anyone else would call it abuse, we call it… character development🥲And of course, our “Can I Be a Bitch?” segment: Bollywood isn’t making us cry anymore, and we’re DONE with the Westernized fluff and Netflix-style “8 episodes and that’s it??” vibes!Give us melodrama or give us nothing!!Basically: daydreams, beatings, and bollywood rants—aka therapy, but make it Desi☁️🩴☠️
