EP 73: Pregnancy Boundaries, LI Villains, MIL Showers

This week we're staying in, getting cozy in bed 🛏️☁️, and catching up on all the things. 💕First up: pregnancy 🤰✨ Who actually belongs in the delivery room? 👀 Why do pregnancies get counted in weeks instead of months? 📅 And... how much fun is too much fun when you're pregnant? Then it's time for our weekly Love Island 🌴❤️ debrief (because obviously). No Sincere Grace propaganda will be tolerated. 🚫 Dylan, don't you dare cry. And Zach... are you a full-blown villain 😈 or just a villain? Plus, Melanie's sisters... we see you. Rise upppp. 🙌💅We also debate a very important question: Would you ever throw your own future mother-in-law a baby shower? 🎀👶 There is only ONE correct answer. 😂And for this week's Can I Be a Bitch? (CIBAB) 💋, we're talking tacky birthday parties, weddings 💍, and yes... Swifties, this one's for you. 🫶✨So grab your favorite blanket 🧸, your favorite drink ☕🍷, and come hang out with us! 💖🎙️

EP 72: Sincere’s Jazz Hands, Placenta Pills & Go Sports??

Would you rather best bod in the world but no hair or full hair and not great bod? (This is our toxic ass brain). We discuss changing your last name  (guess which one of us did) and why so many Desi daughters spend their lives carrying the names of men who may or may not know their actual birthdays. If our dads can freestyle their personal information for decades, why are we the ones filling out paperwork?Meanwhile, Sana is preparing for motherhood, which naturally leads us to ask the important questions: Should she eat her placenta? Should she shave her baby's head? Why is Amna volunteering her own head as tribute?Elsewhere, the World Cup has somehow united the globe and yes we ARE a sports podcast now hehe.  We know absolutely nothing about football aka soccer when the U.S wins but we wanna be involved NOW.Speaking of.. should we switch over to love island UK?!

EP 71: Temu Ciara & Tefi Debate Push Presents & Pop Culture

Don't be alarmed, we are not recording from an interrogation room... it's just our studio setup. 🎙️😅Does it look a little like an asylum? Maybe.Should we be in one? Always.Did we sacrifice our beautiful studio space for the baby? 👶💕 Of course. We'd give her the world. 🌎✨Now, onto the important stuff: send us alllll your push present opinions! 💎🎁 How much is too much? Is there even a limit? 👀And if you lose your wedding ring somewhere sexy... does that make it better? 💍 Asking for a friend. (The friend is Amna. 😭)Then it's time for our pop culture roundup because we're basically Cierra and Tefi with less sleep and worse equipment. 💅🎤 We're diving into all things Euphoria, discussing our latest Love Island thoughts 🏝️💕, and unpacking every last bit of drama from the Summer House reunion. 🍿🍸Grab a snack, settle in, and join us for another episode full of chaos, takes, and absolutely zero professional expertise 🫶✨

EP 70: We’re BACK and BIGGER than ever

Oh my god Drama Queens we MISSED YOU GUYSSS! We have been nesting and resting for OUR baby ( & the baby in Sana’s belly)❤️We THOUGHT we'd have a poppin pop culture segment and then went into an emotional deep dive/ emotional support group about pregnancy, hormones, the age old question: "Okay but WHEN are you having kids?" , how many is too many, is it even choice? (It is.)This week, we're talking all things pregnancy—the highs, the lows, the weird cravings, the anxiety, the excitement, and whether having kids earlier is actually the move or if waiting has its perks. We get real about the decision to become moms, the pressure surrounding it, and the pros and cons nobody warns you about. We also take a chaotic trip down memory lane and discuss all the ways our parents tried to stop us from being absolute menaces... and all the ways we found loopholes anyway. Sorry, Mom and Dad.Thank you for being so patient while we took a little maternity-ish hiatus. We love you guys endlessly and can't wait to hold hands through this chapter together. 🫶🏽🤍

    EP 69: Beliebe It Baby

Coachella recap  ✨🎡🌴Weekend 2?? ELITE 🔥 We were ALL Billie Eilish and honestly…the FOMO was borderline disrespectful 😩 Like how are we supposed to function after witnessing peak music from our couches?? Also Rhode..call us. Immediately. We had to ask the real question: is Coachella basically a festival Met Gala now?? 👀 Because what even is the dress code anymore—are we doing the most  or not doing enough ??Meanwhile in real life… Sana is SOOOOO preggos 🤰🏽😂 and giving us a full breakdown of how her mind vs body is going (spoiler: body is winning). And Amna?? Fighting for her life in a Midwest basement flood saga —because apparently you cannot just call 911 for that  (who knew).

    EP 68: 2 NEW MOMS?!

This is our BIGGEST episode yet… because the secret is finally OUT 🤭🍼✨ BABY, the cat’s out the bag — we’re having a BABY!!! 👶🏽🎉In this episode, we’re spilling EVERYTHING 😭💬 — how we found out 👀, what those first moments felt like 🥹❤️, and just how hard it’s been to keep this from you guys ! Our mutha Sana is officially a MUTHA — mamacita… MOMMY!!! 🤰🏽And Amna? Promoted to cool aunt immediately 😎✨🫶🏽But for real — this is the most life-altering chapter we’ve ever stepped into and we’re diving ALL the way in . Pregnancy 🤰🏽, motherhood 👩🏽‍🍼, the emotions 😭🥹😵‍💫, the “wait… how DO we navigate this??” 🤯❓ — nothing is off limits! Also, in a plot twist NO ONE saw coming — Amna became a cat mom 🐈‍⬛(which she STILL thinks is offensive to real moms 🙄💀… Sana disagrees 😂). Honestly?? Doing ayahuasca would’ve made more sense than her getting a cat 😭🤣And because we will ALWAYS deliver the drama … we had to get into Summer House 🏡🍷💋. Sana gives a full, documentary-worthy breakdown 🎬🧠 that you do NOT want to miss!

This week, we’re switching things up — no studio, no mics… just vibes 🎥✨ our first-ever vlog!!Come spend the weekend with us as we get ready (GRWM style) and spill everything — from Eid chaos to concerts, and what it was really like working our first Eid Mela 👀We’re out in the crowd asking questions, interviewing people, soaking in the energy… then wrapping it all up at a qawali night 🎶 and, of course, giving you a full unfiltered debrief from a utility closet at the venue (because where else would we be? 😂)It’s chaotic, it’s candid, it’s very Desi Drama Queen 💅🏽Watch now & let us know your favorite moment!!

EP 66: Eid Mela Madness & Michael B. in a Black kurta

This week, we’re diving headfirst into all things Eid chaos  – from hunting down the perfect Eid outfits 👗✨ (designer or street-mela style 🛍️), to the absolute wildest things we’ve witnessed at Eid melas 🤯. We ask the tough questions: at what age do you actually stop getting Eidis? Of course, we can’t resist a little pop culture 🎬 – weighing in on the Oscars 🏆, debating Michael B. Jordan vs. Timothée Chalamet , and honestly… Michael B. Jordan in a kurta? 😍 Every brown girl’s dream 💖We also spill about our woo-woo Muslim habits 🔮🕌 we didn’t even realize were totally made up?? and Amna gets personal about breaking up with her gynecologist 💔👩‍⚕️ – and why ending that relationship feels like an actual heartbreak when you’re married 💌

EP 65: Ramadan Blues, Bollywood Villians & Men Love “Sports”

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we start with the obvious: the world is…not great 🌍🔥. Between political chaos, economic dread, and the general vibe of “are we living in the bad timeline?”, we’re asking why astrologers — the people who are supposedly reading the stars — didn’t warn us properly. Where were the charts for the villains?? 🔮 Is astrology actually a tool for understanding power and patterns, or is it just a cute personality test we all got a little too attached to? And while we’re at it, we address the awkward reality of being American right now…because lately it feels a little embarrassing repping the dark side 🇺🇸😬.Then we take a deep dive into one of Bollywood’s longest-running problems: colorism 🎬. From the industry’s obsession with fairness to the way darker-skinned actresses were framed as “bold,” “villainous,” or “too sexy,” (Justice for  Bipasha Basu). Also — why were the men always so aggressively mid while being paired with the most stunning women alive? 😭 And why were none of them even funny?? Looking back, we realize the so-called “villain women” of Bollywood were way ahead of their time 💅🏽!Then we get a little more personal- Amna opens up about feeling strangely disconnected from Ramadan this year 🌙 and the pressure that comes from hyper-visible “MuslimTok,” where faith sometimes feels more like performance than spirituality. Instead of judgment, we talk about the importance of uplifting each other and making space for imperfect practice 🤍.  Storytimes from Sana and Amna’s extremely unserious teenage era as naath performers at age 14 🎤 — and their brief, failed attempt at becoming religious “missionaries” 🕌💀.And then…a hard left turn. Because we have questions. Are boys’ sports actually just men yearning for emotional intimacy with each other?? 🏈👀 Because from the outside…it really looks like it.Finally, we wrap up with CIBAB where we tackle the eternal debates: what it’s like owning a dog while being Muslim 🐶🧕🏽 (especially when the dog lives in your house), and the surprisingly controversial question of brushing your teeth while fasting 🪥⏰.

EP 64: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DRAMA QUEENS💋✨

HOW HAS IT ALREADY BEEN A YEAR?! 🤯🥹✨This episode is a love letter to YOU GUYS 💌 and if there’s one thing we know how to do — it’s debrief  so yes, we are DEBRIEFING what a year it’s been!  We’re celebrating 12 months of growth , how we got here, where we’re headed next 🚀, and how proud we are to say this is CONFESSIONS OF A DESI DRAMA QUEEN 💅🏽👑✨To our listeners — the DMs 💬, the comments 🫶🏽, the “omg this is literally me” messages 😭, the love, the support?? We are actually obsessed with you. Like… unhealthy levels🤍✨Then we get into Ramadan 🌙✨ — the month that lowkey started it all for us, where we come aliiiiiive 🕌💫 Is suhoor fest a problem? 🍽️👀 How do you actually get that Ramadan feeling? 🤲🏽✨It’s reflective but still unserious (duh, it’s us)  Year 2? We’re just getting started. 💋✨

EP 63: Eid Shopping Olympics, Wuthering Heights & Low Maintenance V-days

This week we survived (and somehow thrived in) the absolute madness of the PKDL Eid pop-up - aka the Olympics of Desi shopping. If you've never seen aunties politely-but-not-so-politely elbowing for chiffon, you haven't lived. It was chaotic. It was overstimulating. It was slightly aggressive. And honestly? We lowkey loved every second. We are our mother's daughters, after all. Then we get into our pop culture spiral:The latest drama in Amna's journey watching Vanderpump RulesThe new Ryan Murphy series Love Story and why we're already emotionally investedThe internet's meltdown over the new Wuthering Heights adaption starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie (corset tension, toxic longing, cinematic yearning - we have thoughts)And the new ANTM doc that we are READY to bingeWe wrap it up with our official Valentine's Day stance: keep it cute, keep it easy, keep it low maintenance. Come for the Desi shopping battlefield stories. Stay for the hot takes, nostalgia, and a little romantic delusion.

  12. 59

EP 62: Growing Up, Grammy’s & The FYP From Hell

It’s Aquarius seasonnnnnn and basically a national holiday (Amna’s birthday) — we’re here to break you out of the winter blues. Turning 32 has us feeling grown-grown ✨ so we’re talking authority — what it actually means 👀, who has it, and why being proud of yourself is low-key revolutionary. We circle back with a very necessary update on our super juicy confessions 🍵🔥, including a Drama Queen submission that turns into a full-on tag-team scheme 🤝🎭 (yes, plural participants… yes, messy 😮‍💨). Then it’s Grammys time 🏆✨: Bad Bunny supremacy 🐰🇵🇷, Trevor Noah doing what he does best, & Bieber feelings! Just when you think it’s safe, we pivot straight into the Epstein files… and yeah, it’s as f*cked as you think. We wrap with our CIBAB, aka the FYP from hell 📱🔥 — if your algorithm is unwell, you are not alone 🫂🖤.

  13. 58

EP 61: Posh MIL’s, Reality TV Therapy & Glam for the Gods

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen 🎙️💅✨ we truly tried to avoid talking about the weather… but babe, it’s a HARD ask 🌧️😩.  Starting with MILS, Victoria Beckham (aka the original blueprint of chic 🖤👠), then diving into a Desi MIL outdoing the bride—and somehow making it work?!   We also need a moment for Olandria’s glam team because that squad is giving elite ART💄✨🤌🏽. Plus… are Margot Robbie + Jacob Elordi the most fashionable twin flames of our time 🔥🕶️ or is it just method acting with really good lighting? 📸😮‍💨 We also unpack the never-ending Blake Lively discourse (we’re tired but we’re listening 👀🫠), the Euphoria cast + kid star fame pipeline , Vanderpump fashion as the ultimate fabulous 2000s woman fantasy 🍸💋, and why The Traitors is absolutely worth your time and your emotional stability  As always, we love you drama queens—thank you for riding with us through our DIY episodes 🥹💛🎀

  14. 57

EP 60:New year, juicier drama: cheating scandals, Golden Globes, OnlyFans in the wild

We’re officially back in studio for the first time in 2026 and back on our bull shiiiii! 😈 This week we unpack the very specific tisms we have with numbers  (because math has vibes), why cheaters will truly never be out of stock thanks to your confessions & influencer cheaters PDA 👀📸, AND men who casually bring home a second wife 💍💍 (shoutout Imran Hashmi for the cultural jump scare 😭). We get into the Golden Globes 🏆, remind our Drama Queens that you’re our favorite pen pals and that stranger danger simply does not exist in the pod DMs 😌, and spill Sana’s wild behind-the-scenes OnlyFans encounter! We have nothing but topicsssss this episode!   Plus: rapid fire chaos ⚡️— how long have YOU been Chinese? A WHITE REFRIGERATOR? umbrella hats ☔️👒, Southwest weddings ✈️💒, Euphoria 💄💊, CIBAB 👀, book covers 📚✨, and our ongoing demand to be given every single season of a show, immediately 🗣️📺💋

  15. 56

    EP 59: SHE'S BACK 2026!

We’re baAAaaAcck! Finally home (to you guys)and mentally gearing up to take on 20206 (yes, already exhausted)🥲Amna has FINALLY moved, the holiday trenches are behind us-ishand we’re doing our best to re-enter society🙂‍↔️Zara Larsson is single-handedly keeping summer “alive” in the dead of winter, and we thank her for her service🫡In our ‘Not Your Mama’s Drama🎤’segment we unpack suburban mom drama—but make it Hollywood—the High School Musical cast is going through it! Ashley vs. Hilary? Bretman vs.Vanessa? We deep dive celebrity freak offs,  if you’re the Marty Supreme of anything, how political is too political? How much Botox is too much? And who are if we don’t ask CIBAB? returning items should be a peaceful experience, and why we absolutely refuse to be our girlfriend’s boyfriend🙅‍♀️Same drama, new year—let’s get into it 💋✨

EP 57: 50 cent vs The Diddler, Furries & Flagrant Takes

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we dive straight into the madness  — with 50 acting like the modern-day Batman, lurking in the shadows and serving petty justice one documentary at a time. We break down the jurors, Hollywood’s demonic energy, and everything that had us side-eyeing our screens. Winter depression? Alive and well thanks for asking. Of course… we couldn’t dodge it… The Flagrant Podcast. And let’s get one thing clear: the only real Judge in this world is Judge Judy — case closed. Can I Be a Bitch? Whose blushing because I know it’s not me,  complainERS vs complainING, Sana vs. the furry community and we DEMAND accountability with… our food deliveries.

  18. 53

EP 56: Masala Charga Chicken to Buttermilk Brined Turkey Pipeline

We’re diving into Desi Thanksgiving: who are the “founding fathers” in every brown household who decided chicken charga or turkey was the move? We unpack how our own Thanksgiving traditions started, how they’ve evolved as we’ve gotten older (and our family dynamics got messier), and what the holiday really looks like in our homes. Then we pivot to Wicked 2 because… are we Ariana and Cynthia coded? We discuss. And of course, we HAD to touch on the never-ending Justin–Hailey–Selena triangle. We’re over it, but also… why are these PR stunts still stunting?…and not to flex, but we bagged the hardest tickets to get (FREDAGAIN). We’re feral, we’re glowing, we rave now.

  19. 52

EP 55: Friendship in your 30s, Fair & Lovely, and Face Masks for Toddlers?

In this week’s episode of Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we’re diving into the kind of girlhood chaos that keeps our group chats alive. We get real about the importance of female friendships and why your girls are the secret sauce to surviving adulthood. Amna exposes how Sana is actually a daredevil in disguise (yes, we have receipts), we break down our latest social media icks, and of course—we had to chat about Shay Mitchell’s skincare line, is it the new fair and lovely?

  20. 51

EP 54: The Monday-est Monday Ever

It’s the Monday-est Monday ever, and your favorite drama queens are coming to you straight from the couch 🛋️ You know what that means? THEO IS BACK!After weeks of chaos (and a double episode!), we’re slowing down, getting cozy, and catching up on life! We talk juggling work, hobbies we swear we’ll start, and the awkward art of what to call your in-laws — plus the difference between Daddy and Deddy (yes, it matters). We also break down the wildly controversial ending of House of Dynamite on Netflix and what life without men really looks like (spoiler: endless snacks that make zero sense as dinner). This week’s episode is all about cozy, chill vibes — the kind that feel like we’re right there in your living room🫶🏼Because the perfect weekend is a crazy Friday, a reset Saturday, and a chill Sunday. Thanks for watching — now pass the snacks🥨🍟🍪

  21. 50

EP 53: The Louvre Heist (Halloween Surprise!)🎃

We’re back with a surprise Halloween drop — dressed for the Louvre Heist, because honestly, the only crime worth committing is a non-violent, high-fashion one. The costumes gave us a pep in our step and set the tone for one of our most chaotic (and hilarious) episodes yet!We dive into the latest drama shaking up the Desi corner of the internet, crown Lily Allen as the undisputed queen of breakup diss tracks, and swap our scariest stories — including Nani’s haunted basement that we actually had to sleep in. Oh, and did we mention Sana might have connections to Jeffrey Dahmer? Don’t worry, it’s not what you think... probably.Between creepy memories, uncontrollable laughter, and a little too much Halloween spirit, this episode is pure mischief and mayhem — Desi Drama Queen style.

  22. 49

    EP 52: Married in Manhattan

🗽This week, we’re in New York City— fully cosplaying life as a true married couple with our 23-year-old “daughter” who’s in fashion school (don’t ask, just go with it). In reality, we’re sharing a room with her three roommates and an air mattress, surviving on bagels, bodega coffee, and pure delusion. We stay up all night and do a Gilmore Girls–style food tour like it’s our livlihood!🍕🍁🍂Fall in New York has us convinced life is actually worth living — the outfits, the energy, the dramaaaaa🤸But it’s dangerous… because city moms are out here doing God’s work making us catch baby fever, and honestly, don’t own a corgi unless you want every man, woman, and tourist to stop you on the street!Somewhere between the catcalls (we’re the catcallers apparently), the bagels, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, we start to question everything — from “how much work on your face is too much?” to “why do 2000s fantasies still run our lives?” to “should we actually move here?” And yes, we have a surprise guest joining us this week (hint: our daughter)!!!!!Oh, and Amna shares how her entire family watches the pod — which somehow spirals into a conversation about saving Imran Khan (because of course it does)It’s us in the city that never sleeps — and let’s be real, this sh*t hits different (and harder) in our 30s

  23. 48

EP 51: Scary Tales of: Jinns, Bollywood’s Flop Era, & Boy Bdays

It’s spooky season, which means every brown girl’s #1 admirer is—wait for it—a jinn. Because if you didn’t grow up being warned that one’s going to fall in love with you non-consensually, what was your childhood even? 👀 We spiral from supernatural situationships to Sana’s post-Saiyaara emotional damage, reminiscing on the golden era when Bollywood made us kick our feet, sob dramatically, and practice our “no don’t go” lines in the mirror. Who needs a storyline when you have delusion and desire? 💔 (Spoiler: Amna hated it.)Then we get real messy (because Bollywood still is) and discuss why some “icons” need to be uncancelled, audited, and re-cancelled—for cultural balance. And somewhere in between all that, we spiral into the eternal mystery: why do boys hate their birthdays? Like—why are you acting like we scheduled your public execution? And more importantly, what are we even supposed to buy them? Socks? Trauma therapy? A clue? 🎁In our Can I Be a Bitch? segment, Amna exposes the difference between movie-watchers and vibe killers, while Sana questions if the word “vintage” has officially lost all meaning.

  24. 47

EP 50: Daydreams & Doors Off Hinges (like our parents)

This week we confess how maladaptive daydreaming basically turned us into unpaid directors of imaginary music videos, rom-coms, and Oscar-worthy scenarios in our heads and we’re just waiting or someone to produce this with us (obviously we have our award speeches ready) 🎬✨Naturally, that spirals into music → trauma → laughing at our own trauma (our favorite hobby)-Which is perfect timing, because we read YOUR answers to our prompt of the week: “What’s the craziest way your parent punished you?” Desi parents are unhinged (& so were our bedroom doors) from homeland marriage threats to your standard thappar👋🏼Anyone else would call it abuse, we call it… character development🥲And of course, our “Can I Be a Bitch?” segment: Bollywood isn’t making us cry anymore, and we’re DONE with the Westernized fluff and Netflix-style “8 episodes and that’s it??” vibes!Give us melodrama or give us nothing!!Basically: daydreams, beatings, and bollywood rants—aka therapy, but make it Desi☁️🩴☠️

  25. 46

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we’re taking you on our full-blown shopping spree journey (sadly, we couldn't go with all of you drama queens). 🛍️ Nothing cures a bad mood like hitting the mall with your bestie—especially when neither of us knows how to say no. Unlimited time, unlimited vibes, unlimited damage to the credit card. Then, STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING and watch The Girlfriend on Amazon Prime, because we’re diving into the drama of Desi in-laws vs. American in-laws (especially when it comes to PDA and attitude?!) and how satisfying it is when rich people rich right. 💅Finally, we’re doubling down with a confession and advice segment: from unexpected fetishes (ya, for real) to advice for a listener that is struggling with their toxic family (sigh, aren't we ALL). HOPE YOU ENJOY DRAMA QUEENS!!!!, we’re serving truth, tea, and a little therapy.Tune in—you don’t want to miss this one. 💖👑

  27. 44

EP 47: Pop Is Our Culture, Corporate Confessions, Catfish Jail Time

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we’re back with the hottest takes and messiest confessions. From the chaos of Cardi B vs. “literally who is she??” - the trial chronicles we needed to survive the rest of this year because this is better than reality tv people. Then we get into the most jaw dropping documentary you’ll ever watch: The Unknown Number on Netflix we’re unpacking pure drama & insanity. Our two favorite topics! We’re deep diving some juicy pop culture headlines like metro boomin’s hotness & Zoe Kravitz in all her PERFECTION!!! Then we get into our first corporate confession with a few confessions of our own — served Desi Drama Queen style.

  28. 43

EP 46: Desi Girl Clothing Saga, Bollywood Love Scenes, House Reno Scaries

Strap in Drama Queens, this week's episode is a rollercoaster ride of topics (and not the kid friendly kind - the twisty turny upside down stomach drop kind). This week we're here to remind you that NOTHING MATTERS AND THERE IS NO POINT (kidding, of course, kind of). In all seriousness (or lack there of) we are here to break down some of the most painful bollywood intimacy scenes, updates on Amna's house reno, updates on the family tea and floor&decor floor&decor floor&DECOR. We have a really relatable conversation about growing up as Muslim American girls who leaned on different ends of modesty (again, or lack there of) in how we dressed growing up vs now and how big of a topic this is for us desi girls! With a fun and juicy confession about how to get someone to TICK in an argument in the *pettiest* of ways, we end with our CIBABs for the week.XOXO,Sana & Amna :))

  29. 42

EP 45: GI Jamila in Hawaii, 2000's Skinny & F*ck You Money

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, Sana tells us all about her wild Hawaiin adventure where she turned into a full-blown thrill seeker, to unpacking the toxic 2000s “skinny” mindset we grew up with. Is there such thing as too much extravagance? How much jail time is acceptable for Apple Watches at weddings? We share another controversial wedding confession and already know the drama queens are going to jump all over this one!!

  30. 41

EP 44: Crashing Out As We Speak, Narcissists 101 & Desperate For Love (Yours)

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, things get real. Like… breakdown-real. Between emotional spirals, big life changes, and hitting what feels like our 13th reason, we open up in ways we never have before. You’re catching Amna mid-spiral.The chaos starts when we accidentally record on the anniversary of Amna’s mom’s passing, and we unpack the messy layers of grief, vulnerability, and what it’s like to be perceived so openly on a podcast. Like Shrek, she’s an onion—once you peel back the layers, there’s no going back. And lucky you, we’re all locked in together. As always, we cope by oversharing, making inappropriate jokes (sorry to our fathers, xoxo), and changing the subject 500 times. Expect chaotic pivots: Sana prepping for her Hawaiian rollercoaster ride, Amna in her HGTV era, is Sana secretly a Swiftie now?, the men we were feening over at 6, Hollywood’s newest “it” couple, and instead of a confession, some unsolicited Baji advice on narcissists (a masterclass, if you will). “Can I Be a Bitch?”: Sana calls out fake anti-gossipers who secretly live for the tea, while Amna is done with brides and grooms getting pranked on their wedding night—how dare you disrespect the art that is a desi shaadi bedroom setup? What. A. Journey.

  31. 40

EP 43: Our Leo Drama Queen is 32, Susral Story Confessional, SMUT (in secret?!)

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen — we’re doubling everything: double the “Can I Be a Bitch?” (Hayyyyy Tefi) and double the chaotic ADHD tangents,  and YES… even a juicy listener confession.Sana turns 32 and lets us know it gets even better! We rant about the things we've learned leading into our early 30s, in laws and marriage roles, desi sibling rivalries, and really pull on the heart strings for a bit talking about Lyf3. You know we also haaaave hit all the fun juicy stuff like what we’ve been watching, share the books we’ve read (esp the ones that men could never understand), and really what IS the difference between WWE & Reality TV?  Oh, and we finally define who ChatGPT is to us (Sana’s is a sassy woman and Amna’s is a millennial mom with live, laugh, love plastered on the wall). XOXO, happy leo szn queens

  32. 39

EP 42: Dulhan Dulhan, Turkish Mafia & Nani Said What?!

We’re kicking things off with a wild confession about a grandma who went completely off script with her granddaughter, and it only gets crazier from there. We’re giving you a tiny but necessary Love Island update (Keke vs. Call Her Daddy interviews – we have thoughts). Sana shares her run-in with the Turkish mafia (yes, really), while Amna deep-dives into her latest true-crime obsession, Amy Is Missing, and drops her current book recs. We also reflect on 7 years of marriage, bid a farewell to E! News, and – drumroll – welcome our first ever boy guest on the pod… Theo, Sana’s dog. It’s messy, it’s unfiltered, and you’re gonna love it.

EP 41: Fibroids, Facelifts & a New Home?

This week’s episode comes with a soft launch of our new home studio (!!) — and a not-so-soft callout to our moms for completely skipping the fibroid chapter. After a short break (thanks to a fibroid that infiltrated Sana’s uterus that led to surgery), we’re back and recording from a surprise studio that we’re a little obsessed with... when it's not falling apart. We get real about women’s health and how no one warned us about things like fibroids, our unfiltered thoughts on the Love Island finale, the latest Call Her Daddy interviews, and how Sana gave Amna a full facelift using just her eyebrows (is it a glow-up or a mental breakdown? TBD).Expect chaos, confessions, and a little medical trauma recovery. We missed you!

EP 40: Turbulence in Texas & Teenage Flashbacks

This week, your favorite drama queens are back — panicking on planes, overeating in Punjabi fashion, having an identity crisis while ordering meat at the Desi market for the first time (why is it so intense?!) and somehow time-traveling to our teenage selves during a wild Dallas getaway. We laughed, boogied, had cousin chats in the back of a moving pick-up, we cried (mid-bite), and we definitely overpacked. But in the middle of all the fun, we also got hit with the bittersweet feelings and the unexpected waves of grief that hit when you’re having too much fun without someone you love..Tune in for chaotic travel energy, deep thoughts between mouthfuls, and why southern living (or men) may be the move. ✈️🍛🧳💔

EP 37: GOAT Eid, Gardening Hoes, Labubus with a sprinkle of Mary Kate & Ashley

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we spiral (shock) — from chaotic GOAT Eid plans and Labubu dolls we swear are ugly 🫣 to Sana’s sudden gardening obsession 🌱, PMS-fueled meltdowns 🍫, and Amna’s husband and brother running a haunted house experience in their own home 👻. Amna had a full-blown travel debacle with American Airlines — not 15 missed calls... but 15 missed FLIGHTS — and got sent home with empty pockets and a prayer to not end up on the no-fly list ✈️😭 (even though NONE OF THIS WAS HER FAULT, OK?). We also dive into a very juicy confession all about in-laws — the quiet expectations, the money convos, and all the behind-the-scenes emotional gymnastics no one talks about (served with love, no shade… mostly). Throw in a little Mary-Kate and Ashley nostalgia 👯‍♀️, a horror movie regret (Bring Her Back, more like bring back our peace), and some classic Desi chaos — and you’ve got another cozy, chaotic, and cathartic episode with your favorite drama queens 💅🏽🎧.

EP 33: Met Gala Madness, Summer Screen Queens & Period Rage Rants

This week on Confessions of a Desi Drama Queen, we’re officially thawing for the summerrrr and things are already heating up. We kick things off with this week’s confession and—shocker—yet another man has discovered audacity.Naturally, we had to talk about Shah Rukh Khan gracing the Met Gala (finally!) and start a full-blown petition to get Wisdom Kaye on that carpet next. If he didn’t get an invite, honestly, we’ve lost all hope in fashion justice.Sana keeps her crown as our  cinema connoisseur as we break down what’s worth watching this summer—ONLY in reclined chairs. And listen, if Michael B. Jordan wants to take us on a journey (even a terrifying one), we’re already buckled in.Oh, and period rage? EP 31: Tales of Audacious Men vs Scheming Detectives (THE WOMEN, duh)

If messy drama is a love language, consider this episode our poetry. We start with an insane confession about a Pakistani doctor paying his staff to SLEEP WITH HIM...until one of the girls got herpes and blew the whole operation wide open (yes, you read that right). We also talk about how women are basically born to be detectives, break down a wild cheating scandal involving a fake death plot (bc why not?), and get into Sana's theory about why hot girls stay choosing uglier men. Between a few 'Can I Be a Bitch?' moments and Amna's very important hot take on why doctors putting "Dr." on party invites needs to be banned immediately. Diva this is an episode not to miss-- full of hot takes, scandalous stories, and peak Desi Drama Queen energy.

  44. 27

Ep 30: Men Should Never Be Idle, Katy Perry in Space, and the Scandinavian Scarf Scandal

In Episode 30, Amna and Sana get into why girls trips are basically therapy - healing for the soul, wellness retreat vibes, feminine energy and cuteness all around, and trauma dumping. A MENTAL BACK CRACK, IF YOU WILL. Meanwhile, what are the men doing on their trips without the gift of women?! Do they have the vibes up the entire time? Also, we talk about the trend trying to fathom why men would ever be...IDLE? Don't they have work to do?! Sana is officially a law-abiding citizen now - she's wearing her contacts while driving and got her license (cue applause). We recap the Millennium Tour concert and rank it against the other shows we've been to including our rainy first time seeing Lana Del Ray together. Speaking of artists, what in the Xenon was Katy Perry doing in space? Plus, would weeee want to go to space? And finally, we get into the appropriation and frustration around dupattas and lehengas being dubbed 'scandinavian chic'. Give us the credit we deserve because we've been adorning our necks with scarves since the beginning of time and you know it.
