Award-winning actress Nadège August, who currently stars as "Joan" on the BET+ original series Tyler Perry's RUTHLESS,whose highly-anticipated Season 5 episodes premiered is out joins us for her Broadway Debut! The series, a spin-off of "The Oval," follows "Ruth Truesdale" as she is forced to play nice with a scandalous, religious cult of powerful, sex-crazed fanatics in the hope of freeing herself and her daughter.Nadège portrays "Joan",  the Rakadushi’s quirky accountant on the show. The character was introduced as a recurring guest part in 2020, with producers so impressed with what Nadége did with the role, that she was soon elevated to Series Regular, including her dramatic pivotal arc in S5.  She can be also be seen in Nickelodeon's Young Dylan as the titular character's wayward mom, Darlene Wilson. She is the creator, producer and host of the edu-taining podcast "What The Fockery?". Her web series, Bougie Dilemma is still garnering views on YouTube. Wait til you hear who she has talked to and about what? A powerhouse on stage, August won the 2019 Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer winning play,Good People. She received her first NAACP Theatre Awards nomination in 2008 for her portrayal of Abbe Putnam in Eugene O'Neill's, Desire Under the Elms, at The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles.
